We went out to celebrate our kids birthday. We ran into so many issues with our experience. Our Waitress was not very attenative to our table as we had to keep asking someone else to help us because we couldn’t find our waitress and our waitress wasn’t coming around to our table. My mother-in-laws hot water with lemon had to be fixed 3x due to the glasses tasting like coffee everytime and they kept forgetting to bring out fresh lemons. I had to ask for 2 glasses of unsweetened tea because we didn’t know when our waitress would be back. My mother-in-law asked for her burger to be cooked well-done and the burger was raw in the middle. It took about 20 minutes before we could get anyones attention to let them know about my mother-in-laws meal. When a manager came out and talked to us we were told that they would comp the meal but refused to remake the meal for my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law was furious at this point as I was too. She just wanted the meal and never asked for it to be compted in the first place. Then, we got the general manager to come over and talk to us. We found out on our bill that they tried to charge us for deep fried pickles when my mother-in-law asked for extra pickles. I tried to explain my food was soggy and not hot but we couldn’t get our waitress to come back and check on us. When the GM said they could remake my mother-in-laws meal, it took about 40 minutes to make the meal. We did end up getting our entire meal compted but it was absolutely the worst restaurant experience we had ever had. I ended up sick from the meal and it took a while for my blood pressure to go down due to the level of frustration that was experienced. The restaurant tried to give us dessert coupons but the catch is that we have to go back to the restaurant and spend money on an entry to get the desserts free. NO THANKS! I will say I am glad Greg did listen to all our complaints as there was a list of complaints. I would include all of the issues but but we would be here all day so I didn’t include everything. I hope that the restaurant can add training or something to the waitress we had because we shouldn’t have to ask another waitress to come help us because we can’t find our own waitress. I don’t want anyone else to go through what we did. Thanks for listening.

Good food as usual! Great service and the waitress did a good job keeping the drinks filled. Had breakfast for lunch and the pancakes were so good. It snowed three inches and they could have shoveled sooner than noon. Really enjoyed the fireplace and slight fireplace smell!

Great food! Mediocre service. Two of us had breakfast, 1 had grilled catfish. We enjoyed our meals!! The server didn’t refill our waters and was lazy about finding us jam instead of jelly. We asked a different waitress who found us some right away.

2.14.26 My favorite server Jack was working and always remembers my drink order and very much Jonny on the spot making sure I’m/we’re taken care of and everything is alright. He’s very nice and polite. My/our food comes out fast and hot. No problems at all & he mentioned the new menu so I did order a new selection (salmon) cooked just right. Julie the cashier is always very nice as well. The restaurant is always cold even with the fireplace but, fans are going. I’m a regular there and have no complaints. If you haven’t been there give it a try.

Madeline was our server and was above & beyond amazing! I don’t think Ive ever in my had a server as nice as her. she was very helpful with the menu items, serviced out table really well, even helped with my 2 year old. she was just overall just a wonderful human! she deserves a 5 star apron! ♡ thanks for making our first cracker barrel experience and day wonderful!

Hannah was our server and she was bubbly and sweet and attentive. I ordered the chicken and dumplings and they were both great! I bought my granddaughter a coat for Christmas in their gift shop. We bought a pecan pie and took it home and ate it for dessert all week. We practically argued over it because it was so good we didn’t want to share it. Can’t wait to go back.

I got the Pork chop dinner as the Tuesday special. It was amazing! The fried skin was light, crispy and tasty. Not to mention all the food came out hot severed. The price was fair. The staff was friendly and attentive. There’s always the fun to walk thru gift shop as well.

Cracker Barrel is a familiar brand, so you can expect a certain level of service. However, I had a disappointing experience with a 4-star training server who was unfriendly and made me question her training methods. It was Mother’s Day, and the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at 9 am.
On an another note, the prices have become quite high. A family of four (two kids and two adults) had breakfast for just shy of $100, including tip. We also purchased the new cinnamon skillet, but unfortunately, ours was cold and disappointing. Coffee was almost $3.50, like what!!!!

Great service start to finish. Our server always checked in with us but was never annoying. She refreshed drinks & was very conscientious and couldn’t have been more courteous! The food is , without repeating myself, always yummy & atmosphere, although it was a busy time of day, was very comfortable. The shopping of course is pretty amazing and i always find great stocking stuffers or a throwback sweet treat. Very highly recommend the grilled chicken plate which offers you a variety of sides to accompany your meal. As always, one of the huge attractions is the 24hr breakfast and there are sooooo many plates to choose from! My only complaint….I can never finish an entire meal be it breakfast or lunch or dinner it’s a definite stop on a weekend adventure!
