My son and I took advantage of their two dinner meals for $19.99. Really great deal that included either an appetizer or dessert, two full sized entrees along with corn bread muffins or biscuits. Since they offered a free dessert on my Birthday as part of their New Rewards program, we ordered the fried pickles with ranch dressing. They were so good! My Birthday dessert to go was their mini cinnamon rolls. We love their down home cooked meals. Our server was very polite and friendly. We highly recommend Cracker Barrel for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

We arrived around 7am for a quick breakfast after driving all night from TX, on our way to visit family in Chicago. The hot coffee was much needed! My husband ordered the Grandpa Breakfast and I got the Sausage hashbrown casserole. My daughter had the confetti pancakes with bacon. Everything came out delicious! Our server was polite and attentive. The atmosphere was joyous as people showed up. Just as we were wrapping up, to our surprise someone generously paid for our breakfast! To our Secret Santa, if you see this, thank you so much! It made our morning that much more special and we will be paying it forward! My family and I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and friendly people!

My meal would’ve been perfect if they had served me fresh chicken tenders. The first order was extremely dried out. I ate my sides while waiting on my server to return to my table. Mashed potatoes, baby carrots, broccoli were all delicious. Once server arrived back at table , I kindly asked if it would be a problem to have fresh tenders fried, “her reply was yes.” Tenders packed for carry out, ate the sides for dinner.

Food was good as usual. Service was pretty good… waitress was fairly attentive although she got a couple things wrong. Forgivable. Won’t stop us from going back. Overall, Cracker Barrel does a pretty good job.

Our latest experience eating at CB was very good. Service was friendly and timely and the food was good quality but was no longer hot when it arrived to the table. It was very busy so we understood. Overall it was a good breakfast and the coffee was hot.

The wait staff was excellent. However the food was not.
I ordered hamburger steak meal cooked medium with onions and gravy and sides.
The hamburger “steak” appeared to be nothing more than a hamburger patty that was cooked very very well done. Actually a little burnt. The gravy barely covered the patty and ha two real small pieces of onion.
That is why I posted no stars for the meal.

Pancakes and biscuits were delicious & fresh . Which was great. But the meats like the ham, bacon, & sausage was very dried out & over cooked. I didn’t like that they charge you extra for regular hash browns if you don’t want the hash brown casserole as your side.. syrup good . Service was good too. I’d recommend them.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Cracker Barrel in Troy, Illinois, and I have to shine a spotlight on my waitress, Carmen. Whether her name is spelled with a C or a K, one thing is certain: Carmen was absolutely wonderful. She greeted me with a warm smile and kept that friendliness going the entire time.
Every little detail was covered, she was incredibly attentive, making sure my water glass never ran empty and ensuring that I felt right at home. The food was delicious, but it was Carmen’s hospitality that really made the meal special.
So I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Carmen for her kindness and top-notch service. If anyone visits the Troy Cracker Barrel, I hope they’re lucky enough to have her as their server. She’s a true gem and absolutely deserves to be celebrated!

Told had a busy morning so behind on prepping for lunch service. Everyone was seated, no one waiting to be seated. Do not ask for ice water terrible aftertaste. Is it well water. We told them we didn’t mind waiting for our food, drove 4 hours to drop off my son. Food was good. The hostess was rude when my husband went to get a lunch menu, it was just after 11:04. My daughter got a table so we didn’t have to wait when we got their, We have life 360 so she knew we were in the parking lot.
