I went to the Cracker Barrel at 2 pm. on a Wednesday, and they were slightly busy. They had me and my friend seated within a couple of minutes. I ordered the cou try fried steak with mashed potatoes (white gravy) and Cole slaw. The steak was pretty average, but the mashed potatoes were bad. Overall my meal was pretty good and the service was on par.

This was my first visit to a C.B and I was gravely disappointed. Our chicken special was very dry as if it was previously made than re-baked or fried, very dark brown coating that was hard n super crunchy as over fried batter would be. The broccoli casserole was a salty mush just globbed in the bowl, and my children’s grilled cheese was very hard around the edges, not just crispy but over done hard. They took q bite n that was it. I was not impressed, and when we spoke up all we got was a “I’m sorry about that” from our server and he walked away not coming back to our table after that.

We love eating here. The service is almost always good and the meals are filling. Definitely one of our favorite places. The gift shop is fun to browse but the prices are much too high. Also, on our last visit our waitress complained to us about a low tip she received from one of her other tables. This was awkward. Overall we do enjoy going there frequently.

It’s okay. Nothing to complain about. Nothing to brag about. Some Cracker Barrel restaurants have servers and greeters that are out of this world and outgoing. These folks are not bad, they just didnt seem happy. The food was good and fresh. Just kind of a blah atmosphere. Would I go back k again? Sure.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, decent portions. Our waitress was efficient and we enjoyed looking around the store. They are always busy it seems like no matter what day or time you go. In the winter time I love when the fire is going in the fireplace.

We love this place. My favorite used to be the fried catfish, but I tried it grilled this time and liked it much better. The tarter sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten, so I recommend ordering at least 4 of them to go with the catfish. The service is always good and prices are reasonable.

It’s definitely the worst experience I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. If I were to allow this experience to affect any future visits to any other Cracker Barrel, I would never try another one.

Went in for breakfast before a day of errands. The hostess got us seated quickly. We were put in the back corner of the restaurant where there was only one other table in our section. The hostess walked away and we waited fifteen minutes. No one came to get our drink order. No one acknowledged us at all. I could understand if they were slammed, but they weren’t. There was no excuse for being left to sit for that long.
