Brunch Time. Instead of the usual biscuits and gravy with breakfast, I ordered the Grandma’s Sampler. The pancakes were hot, the eggs over easy, and the sausage, ham and bacon cooked to perfection. And look at those cute little syrup bottles! Cracker Barrel does not disappoint for a late breakfast. 10:30 a.m., not crowded, and very attentive wait staff. Thanks for a great meal!

Good Ole’ Cracker Barrel. Lunchtime for me and kiddo. Good country music with good service was my type of lunch hour. Plenty of seating. Not too crowded which was a plus! Always check out the Crackle barrel store before seating and after! lol! With everything you can think of. From house hold decor to clothing to kid toys and candles candy you name it!
Sweet waitress named Reigan served us well and graciously. Very graceful and attentive.
We ordered the New Shrimp and sausage grit skillet and grilled cheese sandwich with fries for the kiddo. Everything was okay. Skillet was interesting with flavorful tastes, grits a little undercooked and Shrimps were nice size for a mouthful, could have used more sausage but other than that It was pretty decent. I wouldn’t order it again. Biscuits were good. Kiddo loved her grilled cheese. CHECK EM OUT!

We stopped by this Cracker Barrel on our way from Chicago to Urbana, and just like the other Cracker Barrels I’ve visited, this one was also a great spot. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff member who served us was very friendly and cheerful. It was a delightful dinner experience!

My husband and I drove for more than two hours to join friends and acquaintances we haven’t seen for several years. The long table meant we could only talk to the people on both sides of us, and those very nearby. The restaurant was noisy. The only one who seemed to really enjoy his food ordered from the breakfast menu: the rest of us thought the food was only ok, and that included fried catfish, pot roast that had globs of fat and fiber, and the Cajun shrimp “platter” which just meant it was served in a small cast iron skillet. The shrimp were medium sized, and there were six, which means the portions weren’t generous. The side of baby carrots had been cooked in a sweet sauce until nearly mush, and the black-eyed beans were quite dull-tasting. This chain is not for people who enjoy good spicing and exotic flavors. The hush puppies were the best thing I ate. We won’t be back.

Service and ambience were great. We ordered two combos with steak which we ordered medium but they both came medium well, too dry for our taste and they also forgot to bring us our biscuits and corn bread.

Cracker barrel delivered on the homestyle dining . Comfort food at its finest . Serving and the experience was on point . It was busy when we showed up during a breakfast rush and food was out in a timely manner and every thing was prepared excellent. This cracker barrel lived up to the Americas front porch .

I continue to frequent CB as I and family have for many years, it is difficult to get acquainted with the new limited menus. The portions suffer from what they were in the recent past as well.
I am assuming the employees that actually cared and enjoyed their jobs have mostly been run off. People we’ve grown fond of over the years are no longer present. The new faces waiting on us really don’t know their menu and lack in basic waite skills. Mind you, there weren’t many customers at the time we were there so I wonder what will be the experience during rush periods.

I heard they are remodeling all the stores, but what they should be addressed first is that the food quality isn’t what it use to be or the portions, but the prices keeps going up for less food. Used to travel to this Cracker Barrel because food was good.. What you see is what I was served for $16.49 on a small oval plate 4 small fish pieces, 10ish fries and Mac and cheese.
Add on $3.39 for coffee and tax. TOTAL OVER $22

Originally, we planned to sleep in the Walmart parking lot in our travel trailer on the first night of our extended vacation. However, as we entered the city and spotted a Cracker Barrel, our focus immediately shifted to staying there instead. After a quick phone call to the restaurant, we were reassured that we could use their parking lot for the night.

Yay!

We parked and headed inside for dinner, and the food was delicious as always. I’m also a huge fan of the gift shop—it’s possibly my favorite place to shop for unique gifts! That night, we settled in to sleep in the parking lot… or at least we tried. Unfortunately, some inconsiderate person parked next to us after midnight and ran his generator for half the night. Some people really have no regard for others! Thankfully, the generator either turned off or ran out of gas after a couple of hours, allowing us to finally fall asleep.

In the morning, we went back in to enjoy breakfast and pick up a few items, including some of the cutest Christmas tree decorations I’ve ever seen. For breakfast, we both had a good laugh at the unique shape of my ham, and we savored some hot coffee before hitting the road again.

Overall, it’s a great place and a much-appreciated stop for weary travelers.

My son became an employee of Cracker Barrel after having a meal there and really liked the staff. We have been there multiple times since my son was hired and everyone is extremely friendly, the food is good, and the peach tea is excellent. Recently, we had a surprise dinner there for my son and the staff was amazing. They setup the tables for us, kept out secret since Derek worked that day, and provided us with great service.
