I had placed an order beginning of the month of November for Thanksgiving heat N serve family dinner with macaroni and cheese pan all I can say everything was delicious at first I was alittle hesitant because I had to heat everything I thought picking it up the same day it was going to be hot already. I definitely recommend it the food was delicious. My family was very pleased with this year decision to order from here being our first time.

Passing through the area on vacation. Our waitress, Kelly was fantastic. She was very friendly and provided excellent service. She was very responsive and kept our drinks full. I had the chicken and dumplings and the food was delicious and was prepared very quickly. I highly recommend

The food is always good. May was our server and she was handling all the diners with ease. The fireplace was blazing and it was so nice to sit near it.protons? Bathroom was clean, and the retail area has so many cute things.

Drove 30 minutes to come to this location… gave it a shot. I told the kid (hostess) that I needed a table for 2. I feel like his soul left his body, by the way he led us to a table. He took my boyfriend and I to a table that was still being cleared off… when there were 6 tables, we passed that were already cleared off and cleaned. On our way to the tables he drops our napkins… and just walks to the dirty table. My boyfriend went up to the kid and told him that we could sit “here.” (An already cleaned table). We sat down and waited for our waitress. After 10 minutes of waiting for her, she finally came. Normally the waitress would be like, what do you want to drink? Right?! Not at this place!!! The waitress asked us to order. I was already ready, but my boyfriend had questions to ask about the menu selection. Her responses were so bland. She was also talking very quietly, my boyfriend and I couldn’t hear her. We had her repeat what she was saying 3 times, PLUS we asked her to talk clearly and a little bit louder. We put in our order for the drinks and food. She brought out our drinks & food. Ummm… okay… so, we couldn’t enjoy our coffee first? My silverware was spotty. I was going to ask for newer, cleaner silverware but was afraid that we wouldn’t see our waitress for another 15 minutes. Our waitress was gone for a long time.. she didn’t come to check on us. Ask us “how was everything?” My boyfriend wanted toast.. He had asked another waitress. Guess what? She brought it out too! With in 5 minutes. And asked my boyfriend if it was okay?!
Our waitress finally comes by.. asks if my boyfriend wants a box? I said yes. (Boyfriend stepped away to use bathroom). She came back with a box and placed it on top of his food. Yep! This girl is surely NOT deserving 5 stars!! Then another 10 minutes went by and she dropped off the check. We looked over the check and they charged us .99¢ each for a side of hash browns. The waitress told us that it came with the meal!! It was a side. Not an “extra cost” side. We spoke to the manager. She was explaining how we could have gotten the hash brown casserole with cheese. Umm yeah!! Nope. I don’t eat cheesy meals. I’m lactose intolerant.. We didn’t have a good experience at this location, in Joliet.

I didn’t look through the store. I did see a giant KitKat bar for $20… saw they had some planners by the door. Christmas ornaments by the register. Christmas stuff out as well. The cashier was friendly but didn’t know how to handle the situation when we asked for a manager.

I can’t believe I have heard this restaurant so many times from my friends for years and never get to try. The food is delish and prices are extremely cheap. Their Roast Beef was super soft and the gravy on top adds more flavor to it . I heard that their chicken and Dumpling dish is super popular but I didn’t care much ,to me it was missing flavors big time. Atmosphere of this restaurant is cool , the little board game they put on every table is fun , I even purchased one for my kids . I would definitely visit this restaurant again .

Had such a fun time here with my mom on Mother’s Day. Even though it was busy the staff did an amazing job and were very calm during the rush. The food was so good, I would highly recommend their steaks with the fried chicken tenders. And their new campfire dessert is a must try, and it’s so cute served in a cast iron skillet!

from what i had of the food it was good but the staff needs a complete retraining on allergies bc the way i was treated was just awful, I have severe celiac disease and i have a food handlers certification which is what they are also supposed to have in order to work in a place with food, so they should know that they have to take extra steps when someone says they have an allergy, but allison didn’t even ask what my allergy was so it was never reiterated to the kitchen that they would have to change the oil and their gloves and all that so they could make my fries,so when i got my food there was a huge chunk of breading from i assume fried chicken. I had told allison that i have an allergy when she asked if i wanted corn muffins or a biscuit to which i replied neither because im allergic, she said okay and didnt take it seriously at all. This was hugely disappointing because yes i understand it’s annoying when someone has an allergy but it’s not the end of the world to be a little in inconvenienced so you can make sure you don’t send a customer to the hospital. The manager was kinda nice but he didn’t understand how the breading being in my food meant i couldn’t eat it and quite honestly it seemed like he had never taken a food handlers course because he didn’t even apologize for the incompetence of his staff and just kept saying that he understood . He did give 2 free coupons which i just gave to my parents bc i never want to eat here again and this was hugely disappointing. Also thats just wildly disgusting to get burnt food bits from others’ food in your own so i think they need to clean their fryers better. As you can see in the picture it was a pretty big chunk of something that would send me to the hospital.

The food was amazing. For the appetizer I had the fried pickles. Moving on to the entree I ordered the Wednesday special which was a broccoli cheddar chicken served with choice of 2 sides. My selection was the mac n cheese and the tator tote casserole. For the entree, you get a selection of biscuit or corn bread. I chose the corn bread. Everything was full of flavor. The chicken was so soft I could cut it with my fork. Everything was hot and fresh. The service was equally amazing. The sever made several rounds to my table. My beverage was never empty. They were polite and inviting. Thank you for such amazing service and food.
