8:20pm only customers, stood at host desk for 7 minutes-server stood there and just watched/ignored us until the host/manager seated us. we asked for honey for muffin-forgot… muffins were hard and overcooked, 3 of 4 times he came to our table was because we motioned for him…informed him it was my first time there-no reply/feedback. At exactly 9pm manager walked out with her jacket on… I asked what they had that was caffeine free he replied “water with lemon, water, lemonade….maybe root beer”. I asked if the carrots were sweet (made with brown sugar) he said “carrots are naturally sweet” (they definitely had a sugar sauce in them)….nice guy just has obviously no training pr self confidence in his position.

Food felt microwaved….chicken tenders were very stringy…

The friendliest person by far was the cashier- and we paid on line mostly because we weren’t told if we had any other options-our guest check was just placed on the table…. The cashier was very personable and actually seemed to care about us being there-she apologized for the muffins and thanked us twice for coming in.

Just my opinion, instead of just waiting for the clock to strike nine so people can leave right away Maybe y’all should use that downtime to train your staff, teach them about the menu, teach them about basic table waiting, customer service and awareness….but honestly, since the manager didn’t show any of that either perhaps an employee turnover is warranted?

I recently dined at Cracker Barrel and was thoroughly impressed by both the comforting atmosphere and the delectable food. I opted for the Country Fried Steak meal, which was perfectly crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful on the inside; it truly felt like a warm hug for the palate. The sampler plate was another highlight, allowing me to indulge in a variety of delightful Southern favorites, from the buttermilk pancakes to the rich, creamy mac and cheese. The wait staff were warm and attentive, ensuring my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable, making me feel right at home. If you’re in the mood for genuine comfort food served with a smile, Cracker Barrel is a must-visit! The only complaint I have was the younger male cashier who seemed a little reluctant to have a pleasant attitude. He wasn’t very nice when we went to pay the bill and even though I said have a good day he turned his back to me and ignored us. Kinda rude.

Stopped in for a quick bite before continuing our drive to Milwaukee. We were seated right away. The server created us and got our drink order. The food was great and the atmosphere was as well. Very friendly staff greeted us as we came in and said to have a great day when we left.

It’s amazing how this store feels exactly the same as it did in the 90’s, and that’s not a bad thing. The country store is well kept, clean and organized with a wide selection of home decor and kids toys. Sales make the prices very competitive.

The restaurant is clean and spacious with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service is pleasant and fast, but the food leaves a bit to be desired. The egg and hash brown casserole was over salted and mushy. Saving grace is that the prices are still in the 2010s range.

Love Cracker Barrel! The food is always hot and delicious, and the wait staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The store has so many fun products as well. Food can tend to be on the pricier side, BUT you get a large portion size so your money goes farther. I do not recommend the biscuits or cornbread. The biscuits were hard, and the cornbread was bitter and tasted like it had too much baking soda. I do recommend the chicken and the mac and cheese!

My daughter and I had the burgers – very good and juicy. Great menu selection – the fried chicken is outstanding. Waitress kept disappearing. Cracker Barrel also has a wonderful gift shop – can never leave empty handed – and a lot of old fashioned candy.

OK. Not a place to go for vegan and uber-healthy cuisine, but boy do I love the food here when we happen to stop at one while traveling. Never had a bad experience with the wait staff at any location, either.
Always amused by the selection of trinkets and treats in the gift shop which customers must traverse when arriving and leaving. Sometimes I find that I have to buy something there. Good marketing plan, folks.

Was seated at 9:11 am for a quick breakfast before flight. After 20 minutes we hadn’t been acknowledged by the server. We ended up leaving as slowness would have bumped too close to flight time. We saw 4 tables of people leave after giving up with waiting for a server. Host said the servers were working hard, but they only popped out a couple times and didn’t say anything to waiting customers. After all the corporate problems of late, adding poor service is not helpful to the company. It was my worst experience ever with a Cracker Barrel restaurant.

We stopped here with a gift card and we won’t be going back to eat there! We got a Chicken dinner and the Fried Catfish both with Mashed potatoes as one of our sides and the potatoes came out brown and crusty like they had been sitting for a while which would explain our 30 minute wait for food (there was only 4 tables with people) the Catfish was very over cooked and Chicken was super dry. Our waitress was not helpful and quite rude. If you like good food a quality service don’t eat here…

Racist atmosphere…traveling home from with family from funeral, and horrible from the time we walked in. Young lady immediately walked us to BACK of restaurant. Passing a bunch of open tables. I then asked can we sit elsewhere, and she sat us in the rear close to the window, where she immediately started closing the blinds. I then asked her to leave them open, because the sun was a little warmth. I know why she closed them( because who wants to see us when coming to CRACKER BARREL). We then sat, and waited for a waiter, and a Young lady with purple hair looked at us a few times from the kitchen, but never came over. I’ve been going to this restaurant for years with family who have since past, and present, but this is my first true taste of garbage!!!
