The food is good. When you offer 3 samples of a pork product, it can be a bit salty. A variety of choices. You can pretty much substitute items for your liking. Great service. I love the nostalgic. We only visited when we are in Omaha NE.

Have visited plenty of times over the years with kids and family – small to larger groups. During this visit, just my son and I for a brunch on a weekday. Not busy at all. Excellent service.
He opted for Mama’s breakfast and I ate Meatloaf. All the food came out hot with good flavor. No complaints. Server continually filled glasses of water – very attentive.

This Cracker Barrel location has never disappointed me. It is a clean, welcoming, family-friendly place to eat.
The quality of the food is nearly excellent, and the ROI from the menu prices is very high as the portions range from fair to generous.
The wait staff have always taken a genuine interest in providing an enjoyable dining experience.
Also, I have always found the staff to be kind and respectful of persons of color, women, and children.
The peripheral seating always feels cramped. Given the option, I would sit at the large, round table or at an end table.
For myself, this restaurant has always been an excellent place to eat, and I recommend it confidently.

I came in around 9:20pm. Just finished an 11hr drive and was starving but didn’t want to be “that customer” that comes in right before closing. I made sure to check first if it was okay to dine in, I was okay with take out too lit of courtesy.
The staff were all super friendly. I felt so welcome in a way I’ve never experienced. My server was Jack, he was excellent, looked out for me and gave me some of his top 3 picks, which I ended up picking one of them, the Meatloaf.
The food was delicious, shout outs to the chef and staff in the kitchen, the food came out so fast and especially during when you guys were preparing to close, thank you all so much.
The cashier (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) was excellent as well. She was efficient and courteous, fantastic customer service.
If you’ve read this far and still debating whether or not to come? Just the customer service here alone is worth dining here.

Overall, good experience. Everything tasted great. My only disappointment and what kept this from being 5 stars was the fact that the cheesecake pancakes barely had any cheesecake filling in them compared to what you see on their hundreds of billboards. I never expect anything at a restaurant to look 100% like the advertisement but this was blatant laziness or just being cheap. Nevertheless, our waitress was happy to get me a side of the cheesecake filling. I would have been pretty upset if I had ordered carry out to discover this at home though.

So I visited the one in Clive, IA.
I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast… I got the chicken fried steak breakfast!!!
The food was cooked perfectly.
The CF steak was tender. Not chewy like one on my other visit.
My server was prompt, and personable.
A much better experience!

This is my first time at Cracker Barrel- and I loved it. There is ample parking at this restaurant, including some trailer parking availability. The food and service was amazing- and at at very reasonable prices. The decor is very unique, with a plethora of antiques of every kind. The restaurant has an adjoining Country Store has so much good merchandise at pretty affordable prices. I would definitely return!

Great meal, country cooking. Biscuits taste amazing, blackberry and strawberry jam are our favorite. The food is always wonderful and we had fantastic service. Always have a wonderful and enjoyable time at Cracker Barrel. You can let time stop for a little while and play checkers and look through the shopping area. This is traditional, tasty, and buttery delicious food. If you’ve never been I highly recommend

Great place to eat. Great midwestern home style hospitality and food. The food is all stuff like your grandma would make you home made, before chain fast food places existed. Breakfast, lunch, supper, all great items to choose from and you’ll be hard pressed to get something you don’t like. It’s hard to get a bad meal here. Wait staff is generally on top of things and performing well also. Prices are also fair and in line with what you’d expect. About the only problem I’ve encountered is the inconvenience of a wait, because everyone else beat you here, and tables are full. If so, while you wait, these places have a gift shop with a lot of cool and cute items, and most will carry some things local to the area as well. If you’ve never been to one, put it on your list.
