This cracker barrel has lost a lot post COVID. Unfortunately, it’s reflected in the service and the food. Not enough help, two consecutive times we have been there we have had to ask for someone to take our order after waiting 20min. Waited 45 minutes for our food. Pictured is my triangle “fresh cod fillet” I received with my fish fry. Holding my fork by it so you can see the size. Greasy breading, is the best way to describe the fish Manager came by and asked how food was, I hesitated looked at her a shrugged and said “ok at best”. Her reply ” So it’s good, great” and moved to the next table. We waited 15 minutes for our check. Don’t know what happened guys, but fix it quick!

We ordered breakfast and watched as people came in after us and received their food. We waited for an hour. The waitress checked on us twice before our food and once after it arrived. The food was good but the experience left us stressed. We put most of it in to go boxes and checked out.

Mom and I had the grilled chicken salad. They were filling with an ample sliced chicken, on a bed of lettuce, hardboiled egg, shredded cheese, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and croutons. My sister had the chicken and dumplings and was satisfied with it too.

Very poor food quality. Hash brown casserole was unrecognizable as potatoes. Roast beef was heavy gravy on 1 slice of pot roast. Apple side dish tasted like perfumed soap.

Worst Biscuits and Gravy I’ve ever had in my life. I couldn’t tell if it was the biscuits or the gravy! How do you mess up biscuits and gravy. It tasted like mashed potatoes. Horrible!

We had a great server (who we will name Zee) who did everything in her power to serve us, where the issue stands is the management. We got to our table at about 1:45, 4 people, we didn’t get our food till 3:08, for which we had a movie to see in Columbus at 3:30, so we needed to scarf our food down and leave ASAP. Zee came out and said all we needed to pay for was our alcoholic beverages (mimosa and that one jack Daniels drink, 13 bucks tops), we get some random person who comes to our table and gives us the check, for over 45 dollars, they barely knocked a meal off as well as the 13 bucks worth of alcohol.

You cannot go wrong with Cracker Barrel. Fresh food with a great store. The traffic light above the bathrooms was a little much, but added atmosphere.

This was possibly one of the worst eating experiences I have ever had. There were multiple problems throughout our experience in regard to food and service as a whole. The dish that was most disappointing out of our group was the chicken strips that had been ordered. This was a pathetic attempt at a meal. Less than 2 ounces of meat and a plate of less than 10 fries for over $13.00. This photo is the full amount of food that was given. After all of this to top it all off I overheard the staff talking and stating that “we don’t care as long as we get them in the door” in regard to customers and their experience. Lost my business for good.
