I stopped for lunch and had a very good meal. Hamburger steak, medium was cooked just right. Steamed broccoli was just right, steak fries were hot and crisp. The salad was fresh and well provisioned. I always find something for my wife in the store. All around a good stop for lunch.

I travel a lot and usually love Cracker Barrel, but this location really stood out in a negative way. The service was unfortunately awful, and the food did not meet the Cracker Barrel standard I’m used to.
The lighting was so dim we could barely read the menus. Half of our order was forgotten, and instead of bringing out the missing items, our waitress stopped at another table to take their order first. When our food finally came, it was cold and did not taste right. We ordered cheese curds and only received seven in the basket — they were cold and the cheese was hard.
I finally spoke to the manager after the waitress took another order before fixing ours. To their credit, they switched our server and took care of the bill, which we appreciated.
I’m hoping this was just an off night, because this experience was nothing like the Cracker Barrels I’ve visited before.

If I could give it zero I would!! Valentine’s Day and my husband goes to pick up our families food. They said it would be minutes but turned into a whole hour! Finally he gets home we miss a country fried chicken meal…. I call and go back to get it. The manager even confirmed sides with me in the lobby…. But somehow Mac and cheese and hash brown casserole means watery Mac n cheese and carrots… plus country fried chicken I guess means pieces of actual fried chicken bone in n all…all the food was cold and no flavor. My salmon was supposed to be glazed and had no glaze at all…. I’m highly upset. 63 dollars down the drain. Rather of went and spent less at McDonald’s and had better food and service.

Not impressed by the looks of the burger. Paid for a bacon burger but no bacon. No ketchup or napkins in the bag.
More staff working than customers and they still manage to deliver a massive sub par experience.

I enjoy myself and am able to relax when I come here. Good delicious food. I myself just love my gravy , biscuits and bacon. A fresh hot cup of coffee with cream. That’s the ticket!! Staff is always pleasant and engaging. And the rooms are clean and tidee. I should have took photos of my food.

Stopped here on the way back from a road trip. Food was decent. Kelsey did a great job working with my super picky 9 yr old when he had a complaint about the mac and cheese. We accidentally left our son’s tablet at the store; which we unfortunately did not realize until we were on the road for 10 minutes and the store was closing. Thankfully I was able to call them and Traton was able to stay behind and wait the 15 minutes it took us to get back over to Scottsburg to get it. Great staff at this location.

We ordered the meatloaf and I ordered the mashed potatos, pinto beans and coleslaw. Wife ordered same meatloaf with stakefries, pinto beans and coleslaw. First off everything was very cold. The only thing warm was the stakefries. Even the coffee was cold, so the only thing that was right was the coleslaw and thats because its supposed to be cold.
The potatoes with gravy were sold brick of a lump they were so cold.
The food was good even though it was cold, however good taste goes along with being proper serving temperature. That, it was not. So were hoping this was a one off and if we try it again the food will be hot. If not, well then id say we’ll not be going back after that.

Everything about our visit was amazing! Food was awesome! Everyone was extremely nice! Would like to especially review our server Caden! He went above and beyond for us!!! He was friendly, keep our drinks filled and made sure we had everything we needed!!! Very impressed!!!! Thank you!!!

The service and atmosphere at this cracker barrel are great! But the food not so much. It’s really kinda hit and miss. I would say that it’s getting very commercialized with the food. It used to be more like home cooked.

Our breakfast and service was wonderful. The menu has many new things. The food has improved too. My breakfast was eggs over medium…..they were perfect as well as my crispy bacon. The biscuits were fluffy and delicious. My pancakes were perfect. I’m going back to 5 stars!
Now let’s talk about the coffee. I think it’s changed and in a good way, maybe my favorite restaurant coffee now.
