Out of all the Cracker Barrels we have gone to Auburn Cracker Barrel is the best in amazing down home hot Food, Service, Hospitality! Our Waitress Brenda and Manager Michael are amazing ! We stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch after visiting the museum and overall had a good experience. The food was great and everything came out just as expected.
Our server did a good job keeping our drinks full and checking on us throughout the meal, which we appreciated. The only downside was that she seemed to be in a very big rush the entire time. She wasn’t at the table for more than a few seconds before starting to walk away, which made it feel a little hurried.
Overall, the food was great and we enjoyed our meal — just a slightly rushed service experience.

Service was horrible. Got drinks about 30 minutes after being seated. We ordered and took over an hour to get our food. Place wasn’t even that busy. They forgot to make my bakes potato so they microwaved it and it was hot on the outside but cold enough in the center it would not even melt the butter. Waitress was nice but very new. Manager was polite but unwilling to do anything about the service. Wasn’t looking for a free meal but could have at least be apologized not make excuses.

I know cracker barrel is going through changes….but. place was not busy…yet our breakfast order took almost 45 minutes to come out. Eggs were overcooked and portions were a joke. Biggest gripe about this visit was…asked twice why food was taking so long…second was to a dining room manager who insisted it had not been that long even after I showed time stamp of photo I had taken when we arrived. He did have a change of heart after the fact and compensated half of our meal. I won’t be back.

Yesterday, I had wonderful service from my waitress, Heather. She went above and beyond with service, all with a smile and very friendly. You can tell she enjoys her job. I think she would be a great candidate for management and/or training. The manager, Michael, is on top of things as well. Both are valuable employees.

First time at this Cracker Barrel and I must say, wow! Brenda was an amazing waitress! Very attentive and on top of everything! Really patient with the kids too! The food was hot, exactly what we ordered. Our drinks never ran low. Even the manager Michael popped in at our table just to check in on our dining experience and helped Brenda run dishes out to our big table! We love the teamwork! Truly a wonderful experience and must say, the best Cracker Barrel I’ve been to!

Must of been a shift change? Food was wrong when it came to the table. Under cooked hamburger. Chicken dumplings warm at best along with apples. Waitress reaching across table to serve and drinks also? Waitress came back to the table with a box that had melted under the heat lamp obviously. When leaving wife was asked if she wanted to speak with manager? Nope. To late at that point. Not sure how this place has tanked to this point but wow…just wow! You can do better as I seen another server apologizing for food being incorrect at another table? 2-15-26 2 P.M. Can you say terrible? Scale 1-10 -10.

We had a great experience today, as usual at the Auburn Cracker Barrel. Brenda S. did an amazing job and was very attentive. She was top-notch. The food was cooked perfectly. Michael, the manager, was checking on all the guests often to make sure they were taken care of. He seems very attentive also. We highly recommend this Cracker Barrel location.

Would give 0 stars if I could, was here 2 years ago and waited over 45 minutes and then left, didn’t even have anyone come to get drink orders or anything, my mom was here last year with a friend and they had to wait over 30 minutes before someone came to get orders and now today my mom and I have been here for 25-30 minutes and once again no one has showed up. VERY UN ACCEPTABLE! I would get it if they were busy but currently there isn’t much people here at all. Please find a way to resolve this issue as I have no issues driving the extra 15-20 minutes to the one in fort Wayne It will probably be quicker than coming here anyways. Also another table showed up 2 tables away from us today and got service in less than 2 minutes while we are still sitting here with out any service at all.

I ordered the country boy breakfast with the steak tips. I ordered them medium rare and ther were cooked perfectly. The garlic butter sauce was perfectly balanced. Not too much garlic not too little. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The brown sugar latte was smoky with a hint of sweetness. Overall great experience. Mary was my server and she was awesome.
