Poor poor service . All employees standing around on phones and visiting around fire. No one in restaurant and placed us in a corner table for two was cramped . French fries were way over cooked asked for another batch came out the same way. Steak was full of seasoning not wanted and grease filled the whole plate . Won’t be ordering this food again or visiting this store.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Worst service at a restaurant that I have ever experienced.
We waited 45 minutes for our food. As you can see in the photos it burnt. I couldn’t even eat it because we didn’t get silverware. I asked for a straw and the waiter said he’d get it and I never received it. I got a side salad and that didn’t even come to the table. My wife ordered a coffee and they said the machine is being cleaned and it’d be 10 minutes, but 30 minutes later still no coffee. We walked up front and told the manager we couldn’t eat and it was all burnt.

As a longtime Cracker Barrel patron, I have been nothing but disappointed. I have visited multiple locations across the country, and it appears that with the new paint jobs and attempts at rebranding, the company has forgotten how to prepare quality food. Each visit feels like a failed effort at revitalization rather than an improvement.

During a recent visit for a quick dinner, I ordered the chicken-fried chicken, a dish historically known for good portions and value. Unfortunately, the meal was particularly unpleasant. The chicken consisted mostly of batter, the green beans were overcooked and full of stems, and the corn was lukewarm and flavorless, requiring salt and butter to be even marginally enjoyable. Two biscuits were provided, both extremely hard—adding butter and honey did not make them palatable enough to finish even half of one.

Service issues compounded the experience. Coffee refills were sparse; despite multiple requests, I received only one refill after approximately 20 minutes. The first set of silverware had large watermarks that did not appear to be from standard cleaning. The server seemed new, as a manager began closely shadowing her midway through the meal. Even so, response times for requests consistently exceeded five minutes.

There were only five tables occupied in the entire restaurant. While I typically offer grace during busy periods, this clearly was not the case. Overall, this experience reflects a failing business model, poor management, and what feels like the beginning of the end of the Cracker Barrel many customers once knew

We had two plates of the beef tips for 999 one was mashed potatoes and turnip grains and the other one was mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese absolutely delicious. It was enough to fill you up but not overfill you and really friendly waitresses.

Today’s dining experience was not what I have come to expect from Cracker Barrel. We arrived at 12:23. We expected to wait, given the time. We were seated at about 1:02. It took awhile for the wait staff to arrive and take or order, which we received about 30 minutes later. We had the chicken and dumplings. One order was the main entree and the other was a side. It was cold and the chicken was almost non existent. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also cold. I know the restaurant industry is still trying to recover from COVID-19 and look forward to a better experience during our next visit. The best part was having lunch with my wife! We also enjoyed the gift shop and found a deal to give us an early start on our Christmas shopping. I should also mention that the staff and other patrons were nice and friendly.

Presentation of the food was good but my meal was luke warm. Sent it back once but the food came back the same. Disappointed. My guest’s dinner was perfect tho!

The server checked up on us 2x but was at the end of their shift and apologized for not checking back us sooner then handed us the bill.

Wanted a really good hot meal.

I always stop at this Cracker Barrel when I’m on the road. The food is a favorite, with breakfast available all day and other great choices like the grilled chicken salad. The servers are friendly and there’s all the merch for those impulse purchases you need!

I didn’t have an issue with this cracker barrel at all. Everyone was friendly, the facility was very clean, even the bathrooms! The staff was a little short, but, it’s that way everywhere. We had a nice late breakfast! The country fried steak and eggs, the pancakes and the grits and the sausage, the coffee, everything was just perfect. And, as you know, I always check the bathrooms! If they are clean, I will eat there! If they aren’t clean, I’ll leave! The cleanliness of a bathroom always purports the condition of the kitchen.

This was a very busy Cracker Barrel…more than usual. True it was Sunday after church, but it was BUSY! We had a 35 minutes wait, but we were waiting for part of our party to arrive so we waited on the porch enjoying the breeze.
The food was down home delicious. I love that they make breakfast all day! Those biscuits are heavenly!
The restaurant was clean and the employees were all friendly. Restrooms were clean and stocked. We enjoy browsing in the country store and choosing nostalgic candy.
Cracker Barrel just does this right!!

A lot of things have changed, it seems like they’ve gone cheaper in a lot of ways. Chocolate milk came in a carton that they wouldn’t even open, the syrup was almost as runny as water, otherwise the food was good. And the atmosphere was good. Almost doesn’t seem like the same place that it used to be.
