Food was decent. The waitress was a different story. She complained about her day, huffed and puffed at every inconvenience, made it clear she only worked Saturdays. We asked for a side of gravy three times, and she still never brought it to us. I understand having a bad day, but you should at least try to put out a smile when you’re dealing with customers.

This restaurant was so inviting and comfortable. I always wanted to dine at a Cracker Barrel and it did not disappoint. The server was beautiful although short staffed due to winter storm Fern she and the other staff performed well. I hope I received this same form of service at other Cracker Barrel received restaurants I may future visit.

A decent American restaurant. First time I’ve been to one. I had the Southern Fried Chicken and it was very good. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned.

Had breakfast here this morning with 12 other retired coworkers for our annual Christmas gathering – been having them here for well over 12 yrs or so. Sam was our server and she did an excellent job taking care of us. I had the Grandmama’s Pancake breakfast and it was almost perfect – hash browns were just a little on the greasy side. Scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes were a strong 5, but I give this experience a 5 star overall. Thanks Cracker Barrel for a wonderful dining experience with such a large group.

So this was a full circle moment being that Cracker Barrel was one of the first jobs I had. I was so hungry and on my way to work I decided to stop at Cracker Barrel. I was very happy to see a woman who nurtured and took me under her wing who is the life, the face and the spirit of that location. Her name is Beatrice, She’s not only kind, but you can literally feel the spirit of the Lord on her. Now that I got the good stuff out the way, let’s get into the bad things. When I came in, I was greeted right away and I was asked if I was placing to go order or I wanted to Dine in. I stated I wanted to place a to go order and my waitress Alexis G came over and took my order. I ordered mama’s French toast breakfast a drink and fried apples. My order came up to 19. I tipped the waitress making it a total of 22. I waited over 42 minutes for my order. The host couldn’t find my order because the woman who took my order didn’t put my order in and never gave a name, when the Server walked to the front With my order, I felt the bag and it felt cold. I asked Beatrice at the front desk was my order fresh and she stated yes. I drove to work after being late for picking up the breakfast that took over 40 minutes and my food was ice cold. and my apple juice tasted like water. I instantly called back to the location location. They didn’t even ask what my name was for some strange reason. I guess they knew I was going to call back in. They said we will have your food ready when you come. I stated don’t you need my name how do you know who I am and they said we knew that you would call back in. Nevertheless, when I arrived, Beatrix greeted me again was very I received my food and went back to work. The food was fresh, but it had absolutely no flavor. The eggs didn’t have any salt pepper. The French toast tasted bland. The Apples taste it weird. The only flavor that you could taste on the apples with cinnamon and the skin was still on the apples and it just had a weird offputting taste. The only thing that was good was the bacon. Whoever that pig was was delicious. For $19 I expected way more. Now the presentation of the food was nice they give you to go syrup in small glass bottles. The atmosphere of the store was Homie. The gift shop is always really nice to look around and see the different items that they have even though they’re very overpriced. They have a lot of old-school candy that you can only in the south or that is discontinued. If they could get their waiters together and add some salt and pepper to their food, they would be unstoppable. The only reason why I would patronize his business this business again is to see Beatrice. Please give Beatrix a raise… She is the biggest asset To the whole restaurant. She puts me in the mind of Loretta Devine, almost even with her sweet little voice. She Makes you feel like family and I was so upset about Cracker Barrel but seeing how happy she was made me want to eat at the restaurant again.

If you follow me you know I’m not a “chain guy”. But this place was even bad for a chain. Service was slow and not warm at all. The food was flat and uninspiring. Toast was dry, hash browns greasy and pancakes tasteless. There is nothing healthy on the menu! The only reason it didn’t get 1 star is because I like the atmosphere. They should change the name to Bottom of the Barrel!

It’s Always great here. I love the food , if I have to wait for a table I can browse in the gift shop. I only wish they would bring back sweet potatoes I had the amazing Cajun seasoned grilled catfish with cheesy grits.

I love the store in this chain. We always have lack luster service. Usually my husband has to walk up to someone and ask for refills or things we need. No low carb or low sugar side options or substitutions available. Food is usually luke warm or cold and they always use way to much salt. Usually only visit 2 or 3 times a year because Mom likes the pancakes.

We were heading back to Michigan from Ohio and wanted a good breakfast but ended up getting lunch, it’s too hard to decide because everything is so good. The waitress was very good, brought us some extra biscuits and gravy. And of course the gift shop is excellent. Always recommend stopping in.
