Short wait. Our service was pretty good and interacted with my son, who had questions about menu items and beverages. Very clean establishment. We arrived before the crowd so it didn’t take long to be seated. They had the fireplace going which added a bit more heat and a nice ambiance. It was about lunch/ dinner time, I order the grandma’s pancake breakfast, the pancakes were left a bit too long on one side, which made them a little tough and a bit dry. My son had the garlic butter steak and shrimp with broccoli… it was so delicious, I ordered one to go with a side of greens and a apple pie slice. The cornbread left a lot to be desired. It was dry and flavor less. The apple pie was so delicious, I wish we’d had it at the restaurant with the ice cream. They had many nostalgic candy and beverages. Even lip gloss from my childhood. I love to look around and see all the wonderful stuff they have.

Ordered scrambled eggs and they were cooked. Like they were over easy, sent them back. They sent me new ones. They were brown and still raw in the middle. The sausage was pink. The server was friendly. But I was not impressed. Terrible.Because I love the crackle barrel in willoughby.

This afternoon, my family and I went to Cracker Barrel, but let me tell you—today just wasn’t the day. The food missed the mark in ways I didn’t even know food could. The broccoli had a smell that could clear a room, the mashed potatoes somehow skipped the “mashed” part, and the roast was cooked so long I think it aged twice. The eggs? Straight-up rubber. I could probably bounce them off the floor.

The hash brown casserole had a flavor I can only describe as “what I imagine a wet dog tastes like”and I really wish I was exaggerating. As for the greens, I tried to be brave, but one bite had me questioning all my life choices. The flavor just wasn’t it.

That said, huge shoutout to the manager and our waitress. They were both incredibly kind and understanding as we voiced our concerns.

Went for breakfast with a good friend. We’re now both retired, in the last two years. I was impressed. Cracker Barrel makes a GREAT breakfast. Twenty some years of enjoying their Dinner menu and I’d never gone there for Breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. If Cracker Barrel re-learns who their actual Customer base is(!), they might recover. A warm, friendly, “throwback to Americana Past” atmosphere is NOT offensive. If you have another political agenda, suggest you open another restaurant brand with a completely different Customer identity. For Cracker Barrel, don’t abandon your Customer / Super-Family-Friendly and Generational-Friendly atmosphere and values. Don’t do that. Otherwise Customers will continue to go elsewhere. Know your actual Customers. Travelers, in particular, cherish the Southern comfort / Country Inn “Lodge” feel OF Cracker Barrel. Why on earth would you ever change that?

Good food and a reasonable price. The service was great. We were taking care of pretty quickly. Had a little issue with my Cracker Barrel app, but with managers’ help, I was able to get my points. The new smores dessert was Awesome!

My dish was cold while my partners was piping hot, The entire inside has been revamped (It looks like an airport version of a Bob Evans now) and there are uncovered *excruciatingly* bright lights hanging from the ceiling that are *legitimately painful* to look at and there is no place in the restaurant to sit that you do not see them (And I checked, waddling around with my cane trying not to get a migraine from the stupid lights). The staff were good, but I will not be returning to eat at this location ever again.

This location was remodeled after a fire, following Cracker Barrel’s new, less cluttered look. The location is visible from I-77 Southbound. The wait was short at 6:00 p.m. They quickly accommodated a party of 16 right before our group of 3 sat down. Food was good. I tried the new breakfast burger – not health food, but tasty, and half of the burger filled me up.

Group of 11 for lunch. Side of broccoli was raw and crunchy like from a salad. Several pieces of grilled chicken were still uncooked, barely warm. Server was not told until orders plated that the 2 sides of broccoli casserole were not available. Our server appeared competent but perhaps there was serious issues with kitchen staff. Serving staff and supervisor stood behind our table and discussed customers and dining room issues-uncomfortable to overhear.

The food was great. Catfish was fresh and delicious. And the biscuits…like my mommas biscuits! Yes!
Now the bad news…service was blah! Waitress slammed the coffee on the table and threw the basket with biscuits across the table. Say what? Yes, I could not believe it. Maybe she had a bad day, but the place was not full at all. So yeah that was my evening tonight.

Not too bad but definitely not the best. My family and I went here for breakfast today. Wait wasn’t too long service was mediocre. The ham was dry but the taste wasn’t bad. I asked for the eggs to be basted, they came out fried but still had good taste. The hashbrowns didn’t really have any flavor. The biscuits and gravy….gross. The biscuits were half way decent but, the gravy literally tasted like moist flour with added ground pepper for seasoning. Some of our food was a little cold and it definitely wasn’t hot. We might go back but ill give it some time to try to come back to normal.
