We were traveling through and stopped for dinner. There was plenty of parking. We were seated right away. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and also the fried chicken dinner. The food came out within 10 minutes. The salad was good, all the veggies were fresh, and the chicken was tender. The fried chicken was a 3 piece and was crispy. The server was very nice and kept our water refilled. Of course when you are done eating you can enjoy the endless gift shop.

We recently visited Cracker Barrel and were warmly greeted by the staff. The attention from our server was top-notch – friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. However, unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations.

We found the dishes to be fairly plain and lacking a “wow” factor. We were hoping for more flavor and excitement in our meals, but they were just average. Don’t get me wrong, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was cozy, but the food just didn’t impress us.

Overall, we’d recommend Cracker Barrel for its excellent service, but maybe not for a memorable dining experience.

They’ve dropped a few good items from the menu. Maple bacon chicken was a great option but it’s gone!

I had the Grilled Rainbow Trout, carrots, and apples. All were delicious. The waitress was attentive, quick, and polite. The menu offered a variety of items to suit various tastes.

My only complaint was that the gift store had lots of small clothing, but limited larger sizes . Bummer.

We had to wait a while for the hostess to come up and greet us. It was not very crowded at all, but service was very slow. We asked for a to go order so we could bring it out to my sister in the car with the dogs. We asked the waitress to put in the to go order in first so she could eat I. The truck while we ate inside. Our dine-in meal came out but no to go order. Waitress said “my bad, I forgor that I took it up to the register.” So sis’ husband had to leave his meal sitting on the table to go get hers to bring out. And He had to pay separately. And because it sat at the register for 15 mins without our knowledge, it was cold. By the time he got back, his meal was cold too. Whenever I have gotten a meal to go, it was just put on the dine-in check. Even if that was thw policy, we should have been notified that her food was ready. Very frustrating. Been to many cracker barrels. This was the worst one

Me, my girlfriend and my 1 year old had an AMAZING time here. Our waitress was 1st class. Wish I remembered her name. The chicken and dumplings are to die for. Also the meatloaf was very good as always. I HIGHLY recommend this place and location.

I was finally able to try the Campfire Chicken. It was excellent!! Chicken was tender, well seasoned. There were potatoes, carrots, onions, and grape tomatoes served inside the foil it was wrapped in. I had a couple stop and ask what meal was served in the aluminum foil. Biscuits and cornbread were also served. It was very filling. I will definitely try it again.

A great place to eat and enjoy family and friends.
My mom is 91 and it’s her favorite restaurant.
I love the rustic atmosphere, the large roaring fireplace and I can never walk through the store without shopping.
Keep up the good work.

Stopped in for a late lunch, and ordered breakfast. We were seated right away. We waited almost ten minutes for a server to acknowledge us, which if we had the right menu we could have studied it and been ready to order. The server took our drink orders and proceeded to clear the table behind us before getting the menu we requested and giving us our drinks. He left us with the breakfast menu for about five minutes before returning to take our orders.

After placing our orders we headed to the bathroom to use the facility and wash our hands. The bathroom looked like a tornado hit it with used hand towels on the floor and one sink did not seem to produce water. The whole place could use a real good cleaning because the lights and items hanging on the walls were dusty.

When the food arrived we were happy to see it. My food was not hot, but not cold. My pancakes were a little over done, eggs tasted good and meats were all at room temp and salty. I am not sure why our food was not warmer but we ate it so we just get in our car and head home.

We got the bill and went to the register…this is where I realized I made a really bad choice of choosing here to eat. The person working the register, our server, the young lady busing tables and someone else were in a conversation about who is related to whom, how they are related and why it all seemed to be important. Once it became our time to check out I have never, in 57 years, ever been treated so poorly for asking legit questions…I had a gift card and wanted to use it…was talked down to about how it may not accept the gift card as the bill was more than the card, and then was told rudely about how to find the pin number off the back of the card…like I have never scratched off the area over the pin number… problem was doing it with finger nails is not as easy as some with a coin…I had no coin. My friend then used her credit card to cover the four dollars the card didn’t cover and a tip. If I treated any of the people I work with like I was treated I would expect to be reprimanded or worse…I have no use for Cracker Barrel at all now…shame is, I have two more gift cards given as gifts by students.

Great food and service, but this location is COLD inside. Everyone in the restaurant, other than me, was wearing a sweater or light jacket, including all the empty I saw.

Outside temperature was 67, and it is well below that inside.
