I’m usually a big fan of Cracker Barrel, but this location has been in a slow decline for a while. The lunch/dinner options are generally safe, but the last few times I have ordered from the breakfast menu all or most of my meats have been undercooked. This isn’t a huge deal for eggs but for sausage or steak it becomes a greater concern. Steak tips pictured didn’t even have a sear on the outside of most pieces. Eggs were supposed to be over medium but were over easy AT BEST.

The store is truly a winter wonderland right now. There is so much to look at; I could spend hours in there. However, I had my husband with me . The service was excellent. Atmosphere was great as always. That being said, I have never had an issue with Cracker Barrel until today. The good was either overcooked or undercooked. This may be a one-off experience, shame that it happened on the same day I’m reviewing the place, as I’ve never had this issue before.

Great service and people. I find the other aspects of the experience lack luster, the uncomfortable chairs, the relics on the wall that will look dusty, the overpriced attached store. I know people who go there may enjoy the rustic but it’s just not for me. To each there own though. They definitely need new chairs though.

Wow. Worst experience out of any of the Cracker Barrel’s we have been to. I ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I started looking at my plate and realized it was dirty. Not just that but there were 2 pieces of Mac n cheese left on the plate, maybe from the previous customer.

We first got there I was shaking so badly it was so cold you could see your breath almost. We asked to be seated in back and he was trying to sit us at the dirty table and I said we would like this one pleas, even though it was very dirty as well, he said no I can’t bc the server says not to sit there but he had just been used. We literally had to ask him to clean the table he picked out for us. We waited and the next people took our table we had been asking for and they never cleaned it when the people sat down. I had to keep asking the waitress to come to table bc she would check on all others but ours. Now is time for the food…..my 11 yr old son could make Me better tasting and looking food. It was cold and hard, the potato casserole or whatever it is you couldn’t make out what it was and the okra was cold, hard, and unedible. I couldn’t even eat my food and for two ppl 40 dollars. It was the smallest portions I’ve ever seen. I would rather had ate hospital food. No good customer service, no good cook or knowledge of when to set out sides so all is hot,no hospitality and rude ppl when asked to not sit at dirty table and even lying to our faces it isn’t seatable. This was first time out for us in awhile and it was horrible experience. Don’t get me started on the prices of the Halloween decor. Or anything in that store. Never again.

Absolutely worst experience we have ever has eating there. The chicken and dumplings if you could call it that was literally just dumplings on top of a few peices of shredded chicken no attempt was made to even mix it together. Biscuits were old and hard. A breakfast platter was ordered and the server waits until she brings the rest or the food to say oh yeah we are out of white gravy and you want pancakes? Ummm ok. My son’s chicken wasn’t done. I love cracker barrel normally but this was so disappointing. The best part about this visit was the lady at the checkout very friendly.

Was crazy busy the day we stopped for breakfast and the meal took quite a bit longer than normal to come out. But our server kept us updated so we did not feel like we were forgotten. Food was good. Breakfast items are my favorite here. I really like the biscuits and gravy with eggs and “plain” hash browns.
