The last 2 times we have been there, the restaurant has appeared to be very short on employees. This time we had to wait 40 minutes, as did many others, before being seated due to the kitchen being “overloaded”. After the 40 minutes, only a few people we seated and there were many many tables empty and many people still waiting. I noticed that with all the customers that were waiting and being told the kitchen was “overloaded”, I counted at least 12 to go orders rushing out of the kitchen. I understand you are in business to make money however, I also believe that those of us that drove to your establishment to eat should come before taking more to go orders. To go customers should be told there were be excessive wait times or that you are currently not taking to go orders because the kitchen is “overloaded”. You may or my not agree with me and that is fine. Just the way I feel.
I do want to add that the servers were very overloaded and handled the situation as professional as could be expected.

It was so nice inside in a cold Friday morning. Our waiter had just put extra logs in the fire and it was so nice and warm. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Our breakfasts were really tasty. Some of the best hash brown casserole I have eaten at a Cracker Barrel in a while.

Our order was taking longer than we thought it should. Our waitress Delia came over and apologized explaining that when the cook set Our orders out that she didn’t like the way my food looked so she had it recooked. We really appreciate her professionalism . She is truly an asset to your Calvert City Cracker Barrel.

Our waitress Kaylee H was phenomenal! We never ran out of drinks, we enjoyed her positive attitude and expertise revolving menu items. She paid attention to detail and made us laugh. We truly enjoyed the experience! We received our food promptly and everything was delicious. This is the best experience we have had at a Cracker Barrel and it was all thanks to Kaylee. We think she deserves a raise. She has made us repeat customers for this location!

The waitress was very nice, and we were seated quickly. I ordered the pot roast and the roast was tender. My side was chicken and dumplings and it was a small bowl of dough. My husband had white gravy and it was so thick he couldn’t spread it on the hard biscuit. I told the waitress that the biscuits had been warmed up several times and were hard. She said she would see if she could get us some fresh ones, but never returned with them. I ordered Peach tea and she asked if I wanted a refill and I said yes, in a to go cup, please. She brought me unsweetened iced tea. The meal was a disappointment. I did not talk to the manager because they were closing early for a Christmas party. We drove from Kuttawa to eat at Cracker Barrel, I doubt we will be back.

Ordered a limited time meal, chicken biscuits casserole. It was tasty, but a bit salty. The chicken was kind of skimpy. Plenty of savory biscuits though. I was wondering if the logo change was real or just a publicity stunt. The logo on the menu has changed to the new minimalist logo. The menu has changed, seems like less options. But we enjoyed lunch on the road. They do have a $5 take home meal which we did get to go for dinner tonight.

Madison deserves a raise! She was so kind, so personable, and made sure even though our meals had small errors that they were taken care of swiftly! She’s also working multiple positions due to short staff hosting and waiting on our table, but she handled it with ease, still managing to be very attentive to our tables needs. We went to Cracker Barrel on Thanksgiving and appreciate them being open. They did have a limited menu which was a challenge but understandable given the limited food options available on the holiday. Our waitress was fantastic. Our drinks were full and she was genuinely friendly.

I have been all over the country and Cracker Barrel is my go to for consistency! This one has to be by far the RUDEST!!! I requested to place a Togo order no one came to take the order. I made a purchase again requested to place a Togo order… then as I am paying the woman asks about the item in my hand that I had already purchased and she was trying to take it out of my hands! When I said no she grabs the bag off the counter and snatches it so ridiculously rude! Staring at me as if I am stealing!!! I had a receipt!!! Definitely do not recommend!!!!

This is the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Served quickly and with a smile. The pancakes were perfect and made the way they’re supposed to be made. I’ll definitely be back to Cracker Barrel.
