I’ve eaten here several times and this time was better than the previous tries. Saturday 4:30 party of 7. Not too crowded but the service was slow and the place was still loud. The food was all very good. No waiting for a table. I had the rainbow trout with green beans and broccoli (diabetic friendly) and found the portions to be just right.

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at while traveling across the country. The food is always hot and a great value. I love the delicious chicken diners with flavorful sides. The staff is always friendly and in my opinion does an excellent job.

Visiting the area stopped in for lunch. I always look forward to the grilled chicken tenders and the turnip greens. Salad was very fresh and the fried chicken and French toast hit the spot. Would like to thank Eryn for the great service.

For the most part, food was fine. However, the $5 extra meal purchased was a slap in the face. I ordered meatloaf and mac and cheese to eat the next day. Both were slim. I wouldn’t call the meatloaf even half a slice and the mac and cheese was a small portion, as well as runny and both were cold. My chicken meal and sides were fine.

This was our first visit to this Location. Finding it was a bit tricky but well worth it. We loved everything from the environment, the Staff (especially the Staff) and the Food was unforgettably mouth watering. We will make this a weekly regular for sure as we travel to and from Lexington. So happy we found this hidden Gem !!!

Today I believe was an off day for C.B. I think the Sunday breakfast/lunch crowd overpowered the wait staff and the kitchen staff. Just over 45 minutes for a table and then a little over an hour for our orders to arrive at the table. Some items were hot & some were not. And I almost had some gravy visible on my mash potatoes. Now the meatloaf was good, the greenbeans hot, but looked like they were thrown across the plate. Other orders came out piecemeal. Overall today was below average for this location, we’ll be back so they have the opportunity to bring up their average.

Food is very good, but it is always so crowded. We had a 50 minute wait to get in. Once in, it was so noisy, we couldn’t hear the waiter or ourselves speaking and spent the time shouting at each other to successfully he heard and trying to swallow the food rapidly to get out of there. Gave me a headache and was less than enjoyable.
Cracker Barrel needs to open another location to handle all of the customers better.

Was on a road trip and stopped in for a medium speed lunch at cracker barrel. Very popular. From the get go there were some issues though. I think they’re having personnel and/or workflow problems. From the start the hostess was having issues with tables being cleared and silverware. She said they didn’t have a kids menu which is totally cool but my wife told me they should based on other cracker barrel visits. Once we were seated everything took waaaay too long it wasn’t super busy as we came at the end of the lunch rush. Waitress, God bless her, was young and clearly new. She took orders quickly but a lot of things came out wrong…when they finally came out. Waited a good 45 minutes to get food and half the order was not correct. It wasn’t unsalvageable and actually what I got was better for my health. I did ask for my side which was omitted and she brought it out. It was 5 French fries, 5. In my mind when you mess it up you overcompensate and bring out a plate of them. I ordered a margarita. Dont do that. Worse margarita I’ve ever had. Lukewarm. Tasted like beer mixed with some citrus. The actual food was really tasty. No complaints there. All in all I dont blame the waitress, she was new and was really trying and had too many tables. But the kitchen was way slow. Floor manager was either non existent or needs to be retrained. Tables stayed dirty for 20 minutes at a time and floor was pretty sticky. There’s also a way to serve family’s with kids that seasoned places know well. Bringing out multiple plates when youre told that they’re sharing a meal. Timing things so they’re not waiting super long. Things like that. Not a deal breaker or even a reason to give less starts just that added flourish that elevates a place. I know it’s just cracker barrel but I’ve had some kick ass experiences at cracker barrel dining so this was especially disappointing. Room to improve with the right leadership.

We had a great family meal here. The food at Cracker Barrel is always good, but the staff here really made this visit exceptional. I am very pleased with the food and especially the service.

Always crowded with people (typically an indication of how good a restaurant is) even with reduced seating d/t COVID restrictions.
I was seated nearly immediately, they just had to clean the table. Restaurant clean and neat inside.

Herbert was my server and did an exceptional job – I wanted for nothing. He was quick with refills, offered me choices when ordering (they did not have some menu items available d/t supply line difficulties d/t COVID, and Herbert told me up front so no disappointing surprises), was knowledgeable about the menu items available, and quite pleasant.

Meal was excellent for the type of food it is – it is as described in the menu. I must commend Cracker Barrel for providing actual maple syrup for the pancakes (it wasn’t 100% pure, but 55% with the other 45% being cane syrup, but around here, it is the best I have experienced this far) rather than the brake high fructose corn syrup, fake maple flavour, chemical soup mixture that most places have. Well done all around.
