A place to talk and eat too much. Cracker Barrel is a very popular American food restaurant found in many areas. There is a wide menu, and breakfast is served all day. Food and atmosphere pursue a southern rustic style, with heavy main dishes and sides that will leave many seeking a box for leftovers.

This was the worst experience we ever had at Cracker Barrel. The place was dead, took about 10 minutes before anyone came to seat us. The waitress would look at the empty tea glass and walk away. We tried to get her attention and she would act like she didn’t hear us. The biscuits were hard, we ask for more the waitress said you will have to wait for them to make more, yeah I noticed they were hard and walked away. My husband ask to speak to the manager and he asked her to feel the biscuits. She said “yeah, they are a little crispy, I will get you some more.” My husband said our food will be cold by the time they make more. They didn’t have to make more, there were fresher biscuits ready. Usually, the food at every Cracker Barrel I have been to has always been delicious, but this one wasn’t as good as the others.

Good was subpar. Asked about fish allergy the waiter was clueless. Did they order green beans and they were on my plate. I would have eaten the other food but he took the plate away before I could respond. Not very attentive either.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak and it was a bit over cooked, hard even. My dining partner ordered exactly the same thing and there’s was perfect so I’m sure mine was just a mishap, hey it happens. Service was great.

Absolutely disgusting biscuits and gravy. Ordered them for delivery at 8am so it should be nice and fresh. I ate one biscuit before I couldn’t stand the taste anymore. Was going to give a small dallop of gravy to my dogs a minute later to feel better about paying almost $20 being delivered garbage food. When I took the lid off the gravy again, I almost threw up all over my living room floor.

This place is one of mine and my family’s favorite place to eat in Danville. There food is always delicious. Service 8 out 10 times is outstanding sometimes you get a waitress in there you have to ask for everything you need and they still take forever to get it to you but overall it’s great place. Highly recommend

I ordered a steak medium well, it came out well done. The manager had them make a new one which was perfectly prepared. The issue is he told us he was going to give us a discount even after I said it wasn’t necessary he said he was going to do it anyway but he didn’t.
