Went to Cracker Barrel in Danville KY on 11-29-25 for our Thanksgiving meal. I called earlier in the week and spoke to Levi he reserved a place to accommodate us. There is going to be 26 of us. Yes 26. Got to the restaurant Saturday morning and got Hayden as our server. He was spectacular. He did not let our glasses get low. He served our food in a timely manner. He was asking us if we needed anything. This young man will go far in life. I have nothing bad to say about the restaurant. I don’t know how he or the cooks in the back took care of us the way they did. GREAT job to those at Cracker Barrel. Pic is part of my group. THANK YOU again!!!

My husband and I came to have a late breakfast and Hailey G was our waitress! SHE WAS AMAZING!!!!! From the moment that she introduced herself and got our drink order till she gave us a to-go container and fresh drink to-go! She had a smile the whole time and was very fast about getting anything that we asked for!!!!

My family and I have been many times and have had the sweetest waitress ever, Savannah is the best! She makes sure to keep up with checking on us throughout the time we are there and makes sure we all have our meal correctly and does her job beyond amazingly and I wouldn’t choose another waitress for the time there! She is the best!

I liked going here to this location until a manager berated me in front of other customers for returning an item that no longer worked. I was well within my 30 days of returning with my receipt. Instead of getting cash back, like I paid, I got a gift card. I spent $400 and returned ONE item that was $111. The manager implied that I used the item during Christmas and returned after Christmas just to get my money back! I think I would have returned the ENTIRE $400 ticket if I was in need of money and got my “use” of the items! I frequent this Cracker Barrel quite often since losing my husband 2/8/24. My sister in law and I were married to brothers. We both lost them due to health issues. So we go here in honor of them and because we had great memories with them here at this Cracker Barrel. Now I don’t want to go because of how I was treated returning a broken item I had EVERY right to! The servers were great! This review is only geared towards RETAIL MANAGEMENT!

My husband ordered the fried chicken. It was dry and the breading tasted like it had been fried in old oil. I ordered hash brown casserole and turnip greens and asked for ketchup and vinegar. I never did get it. The waiter remembered that he hadn’t brought it to me when I asked for a bowl to put the greens in to bring home. My husband ordered coffee as well and he never got it. We had to flag the waiter back down for him to remove it from our bill. They were not that busy but it seemed like he was just running frazzled and kept forgetting everything.

Had Savannah for a server. She made sure to keep drinks full and checked on us throughout our visit. Had the sausage hash browns casserole. It was delicious. Also the hostess was very helpful in getting us as close to door as she could due to mother being exhausted from her treatment today.

I have never once left a review on anything but tonight I feel the need to. The food was not good. I ordered chicken and dumplings and it was just a bunch of slop pretty much. The chicken didn’t even remotely look even close to chicken, looked more like puke honestly. The silverware we got was dirty and even the tiny plates had black stuff all over it. The only thing that was good was the biscuits. Never been here and I’ll never be back and I’ll definitely let people know about the experience. 60 something dollars is insane for some food we only took very little bites off of with some dirty silverware.

Their drinkwear is going to end up causing major internal problems at some point if they dont replace damaged drinking glasses. Because of this, I politely explained my reason then chose to dine elsewhere. I love Cracer Barrel. However, this is a major issue that gets overlooked.

Went to the Danville Cracker Barrel for breakfast at 8:15 on Tuesday. Just a couple cars in the parking lot, my spouse and I were seated very quickly. There was only a couple other tables of people in the dining room. I waited 10 minutes for a server to come to my table but no one ever showed up. I got up to leave because I was hungry, and saw 4 servers standing in the area between the dining room and the kitchen talking. They looked at me and didn’t say anything as I was leaving. Having to wait that long for someone to acknowledge you’re in their restaurant is unacceptable.
