Got the steak to go and it was terrible. Definitely not medium well, but didnt matter because it was to fatty/stringy to eat. The steamed broccoli was not cooked, I could of dipped it in ranch. However the dumplings and biscuits were fire. I’m still gonna give it 4 stars because the staff was so kind, the elderly hostess was so sweet, and the store is so nostalgic. Just don’t get the steak.. my sister got steaks also so it wasn’t just a one time thing.

Great dinner as always! The new 2 for $19.99 is an amazing deal, and a great food to go along with it. At the Nicholasville location we have always been well taken care of, but this time was even better. Michelle M is by far the best server we have had at this location, she kept our drinks full, and was always making sure we had everything we need. We cannot thank you enough.

I placed a carryout order with curbside pickup about a week ago. The bag was sealed when it was handed to me with no communication from the employee. When I got home, I discovered pancakes and chocolate cake were missing, yet I was still charged for both. The bacon was undercooked and extremely fatty, and the rest of the food was room temperature, so I had to reheat and finish cooking it myself.
I contacted the restaurant and was told I would receive a credit for the missing items back to my account, but it has not been processed. Overall, very disappointed with this experience.

Jessie (Jessica M.) was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Everytime she came to the table she came with a smile. It was a rather long meeting with a friend and Jessie.never one time made us feel like we had to rush, rather she kept checking on us and making sure if we needed anything so she could take care of us.
Cracker Barrel is very fortunate to have someone working for them with such enthusiasm, care and concern for their visitors.

We went on a busy Sunday around noon. We got in and sat down almost right away! We ordered our food and it came out right on time and nice and hot still! Food was great! Despite location being busy the staff was friendly and the area was clean.
