The waitress was wonderful but the kitchen was running very slow, that day. They offered the table free desserts and comped an entree to make up for it. But the food was great and it was still a pleasant experience.

Why does Cracker Barrel Corporate request more info on these reviews? They never follow up… Where do I start? The food we did receive was delicious. That being said… there was a consistent foul smell in the restaurant. Ten minutes to get drinks. My coke tasted flat, server asked if something was wrong. I told her the drink tasted weird. No offer of exchange. Ordered fried pickles and biscuit beignets with our drinks. Fifteen minutes later apps arrived. Beignets were hot, fried pickles extremely cold. I reported that to her. She said they just came out. Our son reiterated that they were definitely cold. She said again, they just came out there is no way they are cold and walked away. She took our order wo writing it down. I ordered chicken fried chicken with extra gravy, turnip greens w vinegar, dumplins, and croutons instead of biscuits. She looked at me and said “Well, that’s weird but ok”. Hubby’s salad arrived, he had to ask for silverware. We also flagged her down for more coke. Meanwhile, dirty dishes from our apps remained piled up at the end of our table during entire dinner service. Three of four meals arrived with silverware for 3. We reminded delivery person we were missing one meal, mine, and we needed a 4th fork. While everyone was finishing up their meal mine arrived. Chicken fried chicken, no gravy, w half an order of green beans, & dumplins, no fork. We flagged our server, again, and asked for the extra gravy, turnip greens, vinegar, croutons, and fork. Hubby’s coke was empty but at this point we were not expecting any refills. The rest of the food arrived, minus the gravy, when everyone else was finished with dinner. Still had to ask for gravy and fork. If Server is new I feel bad for her. Never a visit from a manager. If staff is new they obviously need support. Food timely delivered was good.

Food is great, steak came out well done but we asked for rare, but other than that the food was great. I had hash browns and pancakes and it was all amazing. Restaurant was pretty understaffed, but everyone is super friendly and explained everything that’s going on. As a customer, if you be patient and understanding, they’ll do their job without being rushed or irritated. Read a few reviews about cleanliness and dirty smell, but it smells nice and clean. It’s not a 10 Star Restaurant with 1000 dollar meals, so I don’t know why everyone is comparing about a few peices of food and trash on the floor. I will never not come here for breakfast as the atmosphere is a lot better than most restaurants I’ve ever been to, and I’ve travel to different countries for food. Keep doing a great job cracker barrel!!!

Good food, great service. My only complaint is their removal of pork chops from the Country Boy breakfast. It was a main draw for me. I go much less often just over this one change.

I understand it’s fathers day but we beat the big rush wait wasn’t long but we had a party of 8 which considering the day is about normal. The food took over 30 min to come out. It came it in parts 2 or 3 at a time and others waiting about 5 min for there’s after. Even the understanding because of the day and being busy but when you wait that long for food it should be perfect and it wasn’t for sure. I got a triple steak, shrimp, tenders and all were so burnt it was unedible, gave someone a cracked glass that leaked all over the table, and forgot to put in out to-go order and then said it would be another 20 min after the checks were dropped off. Just not the experience they should give anyone especially as forgiving as I am being in the business and understanding how busy but that food cannot go out any day but especially on a day such as this.

Arrived at a very busy time so the wait to be seated was long. Food took awhile to come out but was well worth it. Server forgot several items so she had to go back three times. She seemed a bit frazzled. The portions were large so now we have supper too.

The grounds are always clean and I love the outside seating that’s been added. Customer service is awesome and the atmosphere and wall decorations bring back old-time memories. I love the gift shop.
