My son got the chicken fried chicken, my friend got the turkey dinner and I had the rainbow trout. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. We had an appoitment to get to, so we needed to eat and leave. Great experience.

So I ordered Hamburger Steak with sauted onions, mushrooms & sweet peppers. After a few minutes the waiter returned and told me they do not have mushrooms or sweet peppers. “Really”!!! Why would a famous family restaurant like Cracker Barrel not have basic ingredients to prepare a meal. Unbelievable, so I ordered the pot roast and wondering what ingredients will be in it. “A few minutes later” the roast itself was delicious and tender, carrots were majorly overcooked to the point of being mushy. Only option for bread was cornbread or biscuits. I opted for biscuits, they were undercooked and tasted doughy. My wife ordered beef tips which were tough and she wasn’t able to eat them. Total bill with drinks was $35.65 overall for the price I would rate this meal as a 6 out of 10. Our waiter “Neil” was extremely courteous and friendly. Would I make this a regular, probably not.

I ordered Grandpa’s Country breakfast via DoorDash. I paid $16 for this picture I’m posting. It’s very disappointing that I received such a poor quality and small portion meal for such a high price. I’ve also shown the photo they have with DoorDash for comparison. In all fairness, I didn’t photograph the gravy and two biscuits.

Elisabeth, did a fantastic job! Elisabeth took her job seriously and made sure we had everything we needed. Elisabeth was attentive to our needs and always had a smile on her face! Austin also was very helpful in helping me get to the correct place to make a comment. I know that waiting on people is a thankless job allot of times and I wanted to appreciate Elisabeth and her efforts and Austin as well. It was a Blessing to have them help us.

Fantastic dinner tonight. Our server, James, was very attentive and friendly, and did a great job keeping our drinks refreshed. The food was hot & fresh, and everything was delicious. We got the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Chicken Homestyle dinner. The flavor of the chicken was better than any other Cracker Barrel I can remember. The biscuits were hot & fresh as well. Highly satisfying and pleasant dinner!! Thank you!!

When every other restaurant in town was closed Cracker Barrel was open. My meal came out fast and was hot! My wait time for a table was less than 5 minutes. I will recommend this location to family and friends. The atmosphere/fire place and service were exceptional.

Waitress seemed over whelmed and not on her game. Floors had not been swept. They ran out of bread plates. My wife went to the restroom and they were completely out of toilet paper and paper towels on one side of the women’s restroom. It was Valentine’s Day around 3:45 pm. Seemed to be understaffed and unprepared. Food was good though but service was very lacking.

We ordered the ham and turkey meals for Thanksgiving. They were absolutely delicious! The manager was so very helpful and friendly. We had 17 people and not one complaint. I don’t care for turkey but that was the best I have ever eaten. I had turkey sandwiches every day I could. The ham was devoured. We will definitely do this next year. Thanks to the manager at Morehead store.

I ordered the cracker barrel cheeseburger and it was decent. My husband ordered the chicken dippers and they were scorched to the point where he couldn’t even eat them. They were so hard and dry, which thankfully they took them off the bill. We got here at a little after 4pm and it is now 6:10pm. It took us over 2 hours to get our food. The server was great and very courteous but the food was bad and they took way too long to get food out to us. This is the worst cracker barrel I’ve ever been to. I’ll never go back to this one. I will go to Mt Sterling ky location before I ever go back to this one. This was absolutely ridiculous.
