That’s the best meal they have here. 11/12/22 just stopped for a bite on our way back from Hernando and I had breakfast at 4:30 in the afternoon. Was delicious. Most of the staff lack personality. From the hostess to the wait staff, they seem to be walking around with blank faces and not really saying anything to the guests/customers. They arent rude but not necessity friendly either. I watched them seat several tables without saying a word. Standout employees were Brianna. She’s the only one I saw smiling and talking. The lead or manager (unsure of position, I’m assuming because of the way she was directing other employees) was cleaning and directing the others to do the same. She was a bit rough about her directions for my liking but nothing over the top. I ordered the cheesecake pancakes with over medium eggs and bacon. My husband ordered the grandpa breakfast. The food was good. My pancake plate appeared a little dirty.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with all Cracker Barrel restaurants, EXCEPT this one. Ordered breakfast which included bacon. The bacon was on raw side, pink and soft. We let our server know about it and asked politely if we could have it cooked longer. Well, they did. MUCH longer. Was brought back, burned black. Really? Why take it to that extreme? I guess they were offended that we asked that they cook our bacon a little longer. Won’t be going back to that Cracker Barrel again.

We stopped in for breakfast and were seated without a wait. It then took our server nearly 10 minutes to come and get our drink order. I requested coffee with cream. Our drinks were eventually brought out after another 5 or so minutes. I asked for cream again. This time, a kind lady at the table next to us shared the extras from her table. We ordered our food and kept it as simple as possible. We waited almost 40 minutes for our meal!!! The order was incorrect, but we were starving, so we chose to eat it instead. We asked for refills, the first time we even had another opportunity. I also requested salt and pepper. The server seemed annoyed, but again, the kind lady next to us passed her salt and pepper.

We used the app to add ourselves to the seating wait list, checked in with the hostess upon our arrival. Approximate time was 10 minute wait. 40 minutes later after seeing everyone one else get seated that just walked in, we asked again why we were still having to wait and the hostess said because everyone one who walked in was waiting in line they were seated ahead of us. Can’t make this up.server brought our check back when she brought our drinks, we had to flag her down to get napkins and couldn’t keep us with drinks. This is our local location and we haven’t been here in 6 months due to poor service and by the looks there have been no improvement.
