The hosts we encountered were not accommodating at all. Initially when we approached the hosts, they were talking to themselves even though we were standing in front of them. They also saw us approaching. Those two were young. Anyway, then we asked to be closer to the fireplace. They said that is not available. As she took us to the table where she wants us to sit, we walked by the section of the dining by the fireplace was almost empty, there were more than several were not been used. She took us all the way in the back section by the window where we felt cold because of the window. Then when we get the server, he didn’t have any personality and not as good as we had before. The whole experience made us feel being ignored. This was the worst visit ever there. The food is marginal, it is not five star restaurant, but they always gave you the welcome feeling. No southern hospitality there. Just those 3 people out of the whole place will make you feel not ever go back to that exact location.

Had Thanksgiving meal at CB with wife and friends. Fast, attentive, and very friendly service turned a good meal into a very pleasant event. And though there were a lot of people, wait time was less than 15 minutes. Total bill incl. drinks, a dessert each, enough leftovers for a meal the next day, and generous tip less than $100 for 4 people, wow. Thank you CB team for your hard work and hospitality!

We eat normally here all the time, but it had been a while until this time. It’s a great place to eat! The food is always good and everyone is always nice! We got there close 5pm and the parking lot was pretty full, but we were seated immediately.

We had a new waitress and her name was Lindsey. She was very nice, and she would smile a lot. She took our order quick, we got our drinks quick, and our food was ready quick. Everything tasted great! Lindsey always checked on us to see if we needed anything during the meal, too. I ordered the Lemon Pepper Rainbow Trout plate with two trout fillets, steak fries, and turnip greens. There was more than enough on our plate to eat, as always. We had our ticket towards the end of our meal and was even able to pay quickly. Everything was great!

Ordered meatloaf. Way too much filler. It wasn’t anything like homemade. Others at the table ordered country fried steak. Wasn’t anything like they used to make. Very processed chicken, I think it was chicken. Sides were good. For the price I much rather eat elsewhere.

Cracker Barrel isn’t the same anymore. We stopped on our way to Gatlinburg hoping for some good comfort food. Well, the menu has changed completely. Even stopped serving a lot of the menu items that we were stopping for. Very disappointing and we probably just ate at Cracker Barrel for the last time !!

Our waitress was the best waitress I have ever had and I’m old!!! There were 4 kids and 5 adults, so our table was a busy one. She did not give us a hard time about anything, for instance, my granddaughter ordered a side of mac n cheese, when her bowl was delivered, I said, oh can she get another serving, most of the macaroni is burned. I hardly got those words out of my mouth when our waitress said, I will get her another bowl. It was that kind of attentive service with understanding children that made this a very enjoyable lunch. We eat here every Memorial Day as we were in this location having breakfast when the Marines called to locate us to let us know our son had been killed in action. Our waiter from that day still works there.

Lenoir City is a perfect stopping spot if you are traveling to Pigeon Forge from Chattanooga. The best part about stopping at a Cracker Barrel is the food is consistently good and each location has its own decor of unusual antiques and vintage items, which makes the short wait for food interesting. The front of the restaurant is like a Home Goods with interesting finds in decor and clothes. I tried the French toast for the first time, which was prepared with sourdough bread that had been dipped in beaten eggs and grilled. I was skeptical that the sourdough would add a tartness to the dish, but it perfectly sets up the real Maple syrup that is served warm in a small bottle. Each bite was heaven. It came with 2 eggs and bacon. The bacon was crisp and had a mild smoky flavor. If you are ordering this dish, plan to make it a cheat meal as it comes in at a whopping 1,000 calories, but so worth it. My husband had the 4-piece fried chicken dinner, and it was hot, crispy and not a drip of grease anywhere.

Love Cracker Barrel. This location did not disappoint. Only negative was getting into the location. By the time we saw the sign, we had passed the entry. Food was great. Husband did order a burger with bacon. It didn’t come with bacon, but he was charged for it even after saying something to the server.

My husband and I went to the cracker barrel in Bristol Virginia. We got the new signature fried apple French toast bake. It wasn’t made right It should have looked like the picture on the menu but it didn’t. The toast part of it was very cold. I get this all the time at other cracker barrel and it’s always good and made right. We’re very disappointed with it.

In my opinion, CB is doing a good job getting back to the basics of why I have always went to CB. What’s strange to me is how much they were willing to payout to change things and I still have to wait in a line to pay my check. I have tried 2 accounts on their web and service systems amd neither have worked. Same results when I ask staff… we don’t know. So, please add making your app and menu usable on line amd being able to pay check from anywhere and I believe you can keep your points, just bring me a little more hashbrown casserole on our next visit.
