I placed a “to go order”. The wait person told me it would be twenty minutes but you took 45 minutes to make a salad and a cheese burger. My salad was the Homestyle Grilled Chicken Salad. It had two cucumbers, three cherry tomatoes, almost no cheese and no boiled egg. I had to ask them to go back and put a boiled egg on the salad and this salad was in a tiny container, nothing like the platter that comes out to you when you sit down to eat in the restaurant. My husband’s burger had no ketchup, no mayonnaise, no mustard and none included in the bag. I didn’t know I would have to ask for that too. And it can with literally five fries. I’m very disappointed. I paid over $27.00 for this meal. I didn’t leave a tip. Something I’ve never ever done before. I always leave a 25 percent tip no matter what and more if the wait staff is really good.

We had never been to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving so it was a new experience for us. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at the great service and the awesome food! I highly recommend, it but I do suggest you go to the website and put your name in ahead of time so you don’t have to wait too long. The full menu is not available but what they offer quite a few options, including non-turkey items. Items. We were able to take home leftovers and a vegetable plate and the price was very reasonable. We’re thinking of making this a new tradition!

I absolutely love Cracker Barrel! The food is always delicious, and the cozy, nostalgic atmosphere makes it such a pleasant dining experience. My go-to order is the grilled trout with broccoli and fried apples on the side—it’s a perfect combination of flavors. My daughter is a big fan of their chicken, and the pancakes are pretty good too!

It’s a great place to enjoy a meal with family, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for comforting, homestyle cooking in a welcoming setting!

Haven’t visited Cracker Barrel in a while because the last time it was really not good. So we decided to take a chance. Wow, love the new decor. It is still very country, but a little more modern and I love the pops of color. It feels so neat and clean, but with loads of character. I also noticed the menu has changed a little. The prices seem to be better and still have all my favorites. Honestly it was a very pleasant visit and the food was delicious. We even did a little shopping in the store. Way to go CB!

Atmosphere is generic these days. Food is good and some of the classic menu items are back and delicious as ever. Gift shop always has a treasure and a fantastic sale corner. It is a great place to find a unique gift and have a meal. The restaurant does feel generic and sterile these days but at least the menu has improved again and the food is always good.

The shop area is great. Lots of cool items to look at and buy if you want. I was there mostly for the seasonal pecan pie. I love their pecan pie.

Since it was early morning we decided we’d stay and have breakfast. The size of the breakfasts are very adequate. Not to much. Not to little. They have the balance down fairly well.

One dish was the Sausage & Egg Hashbrown Casserole. Eggs ordered over-easy and they were. Hashbrowns cooked perfectly. Sausage… taste was off. Not as in sour or possibly bad, just didn’t taste like sausage.

The second dish we had was the Old Timer’s Breakfast. Again, the eggs ordered over-easy with hashbrowns and both cooked correctly. But the sausages. The taste was still off.

I then asked the server about the sausages and found out that Cracker Barrel or maybe just this one, does not servere pork sausage. They have turkey sausage. And yes. Yes there is a HUGE taste difference between pork sausage and turkey sausage.

The sausage put a massive downer on the breakfast. So we asked for the check. The server was awesome by the way!

I will continue to make the 45 minute drive to get the seasonal pies but there will be no more staying for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We have ordered delivery via DoorDash tonight and were very disappointed. I ordered the Country Boy Breakfast with Sirloin Tips, scrambled eggs, & hashbrown casserole. The eggs were not done. They were still really runny and I to cook them some more to be able to eat them. The steak tips were tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the Homestyle Chicken dinner with hashbrown casserole and their featured Broccoli Cheese Rice casserole. His hashbrown casserole was so hard he couldn’t eat it. Mine was fine.. We ordered a side of biscuits because I love their biscuits, but these biscuits honestly were pathetic. Some were burnt and some weren’t brown at all & smaller than usual. The whole meal cost nearly $50 without tip and the last time we ordered about a month ago we had a similar disappointing experience.

They’re trying to come back after the pandemic. Note sure They’re gonna make it. Fish fry was pretty good. Wait staff is a bit overworked. New decor is – almost better. You need to like your neighbor, and can help yourself to condiments.

Traveling home from a family funeral & it was lunch time. A cracker barrel meal was the idea. Since it was Thursday we went with the special which was turkey & dressing. Great choice, great food, server was polite & mindful. The only issue, if you call it one, our seat was just inside the dinning room entrance, so we were by the incoming & outgoing foot traffic. Everything else was perfect.
