While the store is fun to browse the service and food is mediocre, the special “cod ” today was little to no flavor and a bit overcooked and the hashbrown casserole was over done and not flavorful. The dumplings are always good and the biscuits today were soft and amazing. Not to mention a bit overpriced especially for the portion given. And we went right at lunch time so it’s not like it was a late snack this was lunch food. 14.99 for 4 tiny pieces of cod and 2 scrawny sides.
Jody was our server, she was not friendly and she held a sour face. Sad. Yahweh help Jody to be in a better mood and serve you with her job through her attitude and service.

I love eating here, I love the service here, and I love the shop up front here.
The place is always clean, the food is great, and I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with my order or the service. The restrooms are very clean and there is plenty of parking

We always stop at Cracker Barrel because the food is usually good, and the service is consistent.
We arrived about 2:30 and were seated right away. The hostess was friendly and polite. Our server, Judy came by and asked for our drink orders. She was back in a few minutes with our drinks and silverware. My granddaughter ordered macaroni and cheese, I ordered the Thursday lunch special, turkey dinner with a side salad. Our server went on about how they haven’t had side salads in two years, and I would have to get the larger house salad. Then she said, she would have to check if they still had the lunch special. She finally came back and said they did. My grandson ordered the cheeseburger without cheese. My mother ordered the country fried steak and also asked for a side salad. She said again, they have not had the side salad for two years, but she could get the house salad for a small up charge. My mom said OK.
The salads same right out but they had bacon on them. I said we don’t eat bacon. She took my salad back but left my mom’s. She then sent the hostess out with a menu. The hostess said, “Your Server said you needed this”. I did tell the hostess I did not request the menu. She looked bewildered and said the server had put her in an awkward position. She said, she was sorry and left. I was about to tell the server my mom’s salad still had bacon when my salad arrived but after the menu incident my mom just said forget it. My mom picked around the bacon on her salad.
The meals came out and they were good. My mom did not eat her country fried steak because the salad was too large.
The kids enjoyed their meals.
The turkey dinner was good and like many I have had at Cracker Barrel before except the dressing was overpowering and had a lot of sage.
Our sever returned to check on us and asked, how was everything Dad. My granddaughter told her I was her grandfather. She then asked my mother, and how was everything Mom. My mom just said she needed a box for her meal because the salad was too big and filled her up.
The food was good, but they missed the mark all around with service here except the hostess who got thrown under the bus at our expense.
I am giving two stars for the food.

We haven’t been to Cracker Barrel in a while. Its just not something we think of unless traveling. We were staying in a hotel that didn’t serve breakfast on Thanksgiving. Thanks to Cracker Barrel for being open. The food was great and Tammy J wes very nice even though this is their busiest day of the year.

I let the waitress know she apologized and I told her it’s not her fault however she asked if I’d like another portion and I asked her if she could please put it in the microwave to ensure it’s hot and she did and it was much better however I wouldn’t ever recommend or order this dish again from cracker barrel.

All was fine except the manager or whatever he was stanfing talking to a customer right next to our table pretty much the entire time we were there.. I have PTSD and him standing like that and all the loud talking just made this trip not pleasant.. our waitress moved around so much so fast you about couldnt get anything out of her.. never had a bad experience there til now. Usually it is one of my favorite spots. The fried okr was either not breaded right or was cooked wrong bc it was hard and bitter and flavorless.. meatloaf was dried out REALLY bad and almost burnt…

Loved my experience here. The food was hot, crispy, yet juicy. I had the fried turkey . Okra and hashbrown casserole. Everything tasted great. I even had leftover that tasted great the next day.

Was there on 9/10/21. When we received our carry out I check to make sure that it was correct bc the first time I went there a few weeks back they got my order wrong. So I checked and it was wrong again. Went back a they were gracious about making it right. Unfortunate when they brought the correct items out ( rather fast) I was concerned. How was it cooked so fast? Anyway got home and my suspicions were correct. The chicken they gave me as a replacement was Old, as was the potatoes ( they were hard). The fish was broken and not fit to give anyone. I ended up not eating ANYTHING. My husband ate his food and we decided we wouldn’t return. The first and second time going they got our order wrong so it won’t be a third.
