Starving and needing coffee I stopped at the famous Cracker Barrel restaurant. Seated right away and our server was at the table in seconds with coffee in hand. Ordered some food and it was just ok. Eggs were a little cold and sausages were dry. Service was great throughout

Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I walked in the door! I the past 20 years this is one of the top visits I’ve had. It reminded me of everything that made me fall in love with the Cracker Barrel! Sharliyah was an absolute gem and flawlessly executed every aspect of service with charm, candor, and a smile! As I left to pay, Anna and Amber were warm and pleasant. This team made my day! The eggs were cooked to perfection right along with the pancakes. My favorite catfish was just like I remembered. (Sorry no pictures of food, but it was so delicious and appealing that I ate the plates clean!) I highly recommend this Cracker Barrel location if you find yourself in Pell City.

Cracker barrel is always good. We love that they accommodate RVers and stop there as often as possible. I’m not a fan of the new menu though. Bring back some of the old favorites like the open-face roast beef sandwiches. So good!

As always, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store scored big time! Gotta tell ya, the chicken fried chicken was killer! Two HUGE hand battered chicken breasts, fried to perfection, with just the right amount of batter! The portion was so big I couldn’t finish it and had to bring half a breast home! The appetizer was kind of disappointing. The loaded fries consisted of about ten steak fries with a scant amount of bacon and cheese. I expected better, although the small amount we did get was good. My wife loved her meal of Mae bacon grilled chicken also. I will say, our hashbrown casserole, both mine and my wife’s, was a little dry and chewy. We were there around 4:30 pm, so before the dinner rush, so maybe it was leftover from lunch? I was a little disappointed in our service as my drink sat on the edge of the table empty for upwards of 15 minutes before our waitress brought another glass. I didn’t say anything as it looked like they were, like most restaurants in today’s world, understaffed. All in all, we enjoy Cracker Barrel and will def go back!

Most of the Food was great, service was phenomenal, the atmosphere is catered more for the elderly or those who adore the old fashioned type of lifestyle. They play country music on the speakers and even have a front porch with rocking chairs.
I ordered baked apples, grits, and hashbrown casserole. The baked apples and grits had little to no flavor, you’d think that this place would have great grits.
There is also a store inside that sells random things. Most are overpriced, but the old fashioned candy and drinks are reasonably priced.

Great experience. Was not able to apply my reward points so I sent a note through the rewards like. CB reached out and resolved. That’s impressive. When there’s a problem they took care to resolve. I’m a fan. Great follow up experience.

Everyone loves the gift shop and it is fun to go to but I always love a great waiter. The other day when we went. I finally found that great waiter. Hunter was amazing and tried to help with every question. Very down to the earth and kind. We hope he is working every time we go. Thank you for a great experience. Blessings.

Not a great experience. The lady with the hair in her face and the very young short girl was trying really hard with our orders but it was over an hour after we ordered that any of our food came and a lot of it was wrong. The kitchen must have been in disarray bc most of the stiff was almost burned and other stuff like mine and my sister’s plates had been sitting in the back for awhile. Her beans had dried on top and my gravy was congealed. Also, one of our servers brought out tea and water to refill drinks and while she was pouring tea a different server came along and grabbed the tray with the water pitcher on it and was walking away I had to yell “hey we need that water, we don’t have refills and the short young lady saw her then and also had to tell her stop because she had just brought it out. All in all I was happy our family or at least part of it got together for a visit but this places needs more help or a better kitchen staff, the ones I saw you could look it and tell they didn’t care. Teenage slackers. But then again no one will work anymore. It definitely needs improvement for a semi large group of 14 people. They were very unorganized and seemed to be working against each. Except our 2 server who tried to keep it together. They were apologetic. I think the main problem was the kitchen. Burned biscuits and over cooked onion petals.
