Good food good meal. Our waiter was assigned a very large table that was having a celebration. They occupied half of that dinning area, needless to say our table could not have a conversation due to noise level(4 on atmosphere). Our waiter had no help so he had large group,our table and a table of two. He was doing his best, our drinks were never refilled, was thru with dumplings before a spoon was delivered and one food item was brought out as we were ready to leave. All this is not a waiter fault its management.

Cracker Barrel is always a must on the road as I’m usually ready for some vegetables. The food was good and the restaurant was clean and not crowded. Our waitress took our order and came by to see if everything was good. That was the only time she came by the table until it was time to leave the check. No refills were offered and considering the price of tea, I thought she could have come by one more time. As I said, it was not very busy.

The location is great, the facility is nice and well maintained. Our server was Jim. He was responsive and friendly. We ordered the tater tots as an appetizer .. they seemed to be made in house, very flavorful. The Hash Brown Casserole Shepard’s Pie was excellent. The entrees were great, fresh and tasty. A great experience! This location is highly recommended.

To be honest, Cracker Barrels restaurants can be hit or miss! This isn’t to cast a negative light on Cracker Barrel, but you’ll agree that getting a 100% GREAT meal depends on several factors, starting with who’s in the kitchen that day. That said, they usually offer good food, gopd cornbread, great service, and an inviting atmosphere.

The usual Cracker Barrel Experience. The wait was roughly 45 minutes. My daughter and wife shopped while we waited. Once we were seated our waiter promptly greeted us. He was very friendly. We ordered and 20 minutes or so our orders came out. There was several mix-ups, but the waiter did he best to correct. The food was decent except the pancakes which we couldn’t cut with a knife. The waiter removed the pancakes from our ticket. The Pork Chops my daughter and I ordered were good along with the corn, hashbrowns and fries. My wife Shrimp were ok. All in all it was a decent trip to CB.

Since we were a little early for dinner, we took advantage of the early bird menu. The home style chicken was crispy and delicious while the chicken and dumplings were tasty. Our server was very attentive.

UPDATE: I thought eating in would be fine, but no. We were there over two hours and then they brought the wrong food. Then the waitress actually argued with me so I showed her the menu. Yes they wound up comping the food, but we could’ve gone to Helen where they actually cook the food from fresh, in less than two hours. This location is just problematic. I guess I’ll try again in another two years and maybe they’ll get a star back. But I doubt it.

We have never gotten our order correct for take out. Not even one time. First we figured it was something to do with the website, so we switched to the app. When we went to the store THE APP DIDN’T EVEN PUT IN OUR PAID FOR ORDER!!! This last time, we called, figuring a real human being couldn’t mess up. We get home and the order is WRONG AGAIN! I call and my choices are to go back out in the rain all the way over there to have them remake the wrong order, all while my families orders are getting cold or he could “write my name down” and sometime in the vague future (if they haven’t lost this nebulous piece of paper) give me a free meal.
I asked if they could just mail me a coupon or refund the money to the card. Even though this is the 21st century and refunds are done like this all the time by every other business in existence, somehow this technology is beyond cracker barrel. (I should’ve guessed when both their website and their app don’t work.) Apparently the technology of coupons have passed them by as well.
I GIVE UP. I’m done.

Got convinced to try them again and they have improved. At least as far as dine-in service. I’d be wary of ordering take out from here.

This is the classic southern restaurant! I didn’t know why it was so busy until I was there. I chose the southern fried chicken and it was very good, far from any secret recipe, I just felt at home, there’s the secret, it’s a busy place but their staff is always ready with a smile to help you. Don’t forget to take the time to buy a souvenir in their store, there are some very nice items. See you soon!

We had an excellent server, he worked hard. The kitchen didn’t do as well. We waited an hour on food, watching many other patrons get fed up and leave. In our party of five, we had one meal brought out. It was eaten by the time the rest of us were served. Once we did have food, the bacon was undercooked, the steak overcooked, scrambled eggs were cold and my pancakes were so tough that I could not eat all of them. We did let management know and they apologized and did what they could to make it better, thus the high ratings for service and atmosphere
