We arrived at cracker barrel for an early lunch. They were still serving your choice of breakfast or lunch. We were quickly seated and waited on. Our server Anne, took our drink orders and brought them out quickly. We then ordered our food. I ordered salad with grilled chicken which was supposed to have mixed greens but it was only iceberg lettuce. The only other green thing in there were the cucumbers and the tomatoes. My wife ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and hashbrown casserole. I forgot to tell them that she wanted the casserole and bacon crispy so they come out pretty soft. Her toast was very white. Although it was a little hard on top, it was almost like it was stale rather than toasted. Anne kept our coffees filled with a smile.
As always, the entrance is full of unique items and a lot of things that are hard to find anymore for your pleasure.

Parked at this Cracker Barrel over night in our 19ft Sprinter RV, it has nice designated spaces for RV’s and it is somewhat quiet, especially considering it is located in close proximity to the highway. Visited their store, it has an abundance of specialty items that are unique in addition to expected gift store items. We arrived after 9pm, so we were unable to visit their restaurant.
We left early in the morning and surprisingly they were open for breakfast and the gift shop was open as well.

We came to try their Thanksgiving meal. We did not like all but 2 items on the plates. The biscuits and hash brown casserole were great as usual. Just not the Thanksgiving items. Service was fine, that’s what the stars are for.

I wish I could give zero stars. My family were in this area for a baby dedication. Since this restaurant was central to everyone’s location, we decided to meet here for dinner. There was a total of 7 adults and 3 children. We were led to the back area. This wasn’t a problem because we were a large party. HOWEVER, we sat there for 15 minutes before we received drinks. Our server, Brittany, was rarely seen, and when she did come, she slammed my son-in-law’s plates on the table claiming it was because they were hot. I would’ve accepted that IF she had shown the same level of discomfort handing out all other plates. Nope, just his. The adults all received their food and the children (ages 4 & 3) were the last to receive their food. The manager said, “Well, she can’t control what comes out the kitchen and when.” No, BUT she can inquire and let us know that she was checking and not just allowing the children to sit there hungry. Yes, we gave them food from our plates and muffins, but they wanted what they ordered. Our bill was around $175. I was conflicted about even leaving a tip because the server NEVER responded anytime we said, “Thank you.” Who does that? It actually grieved me to give this lady anything, BUT I didn’t want to be as nasty to her as she was to us. To “make this right” the manager removed about $20 from our bill. That is THE LAST of my money this place will ever receive. I’ve always heard that it costs you nothing to be nice to people, to smile, or say thank you. Well, that night it cost her a huge tip. I know there were a lot of us, and we were willing to be patient, BUT we did NOT appreciate the low level of service we received from the staff.

What about the water?
There is something special about having pancakes for dinner. Great visit as always
Note: I feel your restrooms need a remodel, very clean. Your water has a funny taste

Fresh hot biscuits, food was great, strawberries were fresh. Everything tasted great. Our server Emily was really sweet always making eye contact and checking on us as she passed by. Bathrooms were really clean, store woman were friendly an held our items until after we ate. Great experience and we can’t wait to come back! Great prices too

While we generally love Cracker Barrel restaurants, this one was subpar. We were hungry, skipped lunch, loved the picture of the fried chicken, ordered this with green beans and Mac & cheese. I really didn’t care for any of it. The chicken looked like a breaded Perdue patty, not the peel away skin and moist chicken I imagined? The green beans were not at all beans because they were shredded pieces and the Mac&Cheese had burned parts in it. It took a very long time for our food to come to the table.
My husband liked his meatloaf, carrots and corn but said the iced tea had a funny taste.

Terrible food. Ordered a BLT on white toast. Was served soggy bread soaked in butter & grease. Was horrible. At checkout the cashier never said a word to us. He talked the entire time to another employee about vacation.

We visited the Cracker Barrel in Waycross Ga. on Sunday and had fried chicken. The chicken was very greasy as the paper it was on was soaked in grease.
We both took a few bites and couldn’t eat it. Unfortunately we didn’t say anything because it was Sunday and busy. Our sides were fine and the service was good.
I found out that they only serve fried chicken on the weekends, maybe they could use a different recipe.
