This Cracker Barrel is located right off 1-26. We stopped here and ordered breakfast for dinner. Our waitress Laura, was very attentive and super friendly. Our food was cooked just right. If we have the opportunity, we will eat here again.

Glad to see no “changes” to this Cracker Barrel on our way through South Carolina to Florida. Chicken Herb dinner and my beef pot roast with sides were delicious. Our server, Fatima, was prompt and personable and checked on us frequently. She made sure a new batch of cornbread came to us and provided plenty of lemons for my sweet tea. I told her we must have been meant to be there because Up above our table was a framed 1950’s DANCE poster from Northern Kentucky with Newport schedule dates. We are from Northern Kentucky and I am a retired school principal from Newport. What were the odds? Great lunch

I placed an $80 order for grilled tenders for an event and set the pickup time for 3:15pm at this location. I was running a bit late and arrived to the restaurant at 3:20, fully anticipating my order to be waiting for me. A staff member greeted me and called to the kitchen for my order, and I waited. After about 10 minutes another staff member walked back to the kitchen to check. He came back out and said they were “working on the order” which was confusing because we were well past my scheduled pickup time. Another 15 minutes went by and the staff member went back to check again, walked out and offered me a drink “while they finish up the order.” I declined as I was now running late for the event I needed to be at. About five minutes later (more than 30 minutes after my scheduled pickup time), a staff member walked out and handed me my order without a word. I asked if the dipping sauces were in the bag. He said “what did you want” (the sauces were listed on the order). I told him what sauces I ordered and he walked away without a word and then came back and handed them to me, again, without saying a word to me. The food did taste good and was enjoyed by the people at the event when I finally did arrive.

Walked out of my Birthday dinner. Arrived approximately 4:50, group of 7 in front of us was sat, we (3 adults & 8yo) were sat immediately after and a 2 top in the second dining room right after us. After almost 10 minutes of no one acknowledging us my son stopped a server who said she’d find, whoever…She came back & took the table as she didn’t know who was supposed to serve us. We were ready with food & drink order. Came back shortly with drinks & said would return with bread basket. So we waited & waited. 2 tables behind us got bread. We did too, eventually. Forgot to mention, 7 top’s food was delivered same time as our bread. Back to waiting. When the 7 top got their checks, & the 2 top seated after us were leaving the dining room, & we still did not have our food my intuitive son asked if I just wanted to go. Had I not been with him, I definitely would have shown out. So we left, he insisted on paying for the bread & apple juice. I told the hostess what was going on. We left. After driving 45 mn for my BIRTHDAY DINNER. & the manager sweeping that looked right at my dil who said she’d kill 4 a biscuit, & i loudly complained, “this is why i hate going out, you’d think cracker barrel has standards, but youd b wrong.”youkept right on sweeping, never acknowledged us. You suck. Dirty tables, waitresses walking to doorway looking out not doing anything. You should ALL be retrained or fired. Let me add this was not a busy Friday night. When we were sat, there were 2 other occupied tables besides the 7 top up front. 4 tables including us. In conclusion let me just reiterate, YOU SUCK,SUCK,SUCK

Truthfully, it’s very rare that we ever receive everything we ordered from this location, and the food is only actually good once in a blue moon. We keep giving them chances though, so I guess that’s on us. Hopefully you’ll be there on a good day.

Despite the awareness of being short staffed, or at least that’s what it seemed like for when I first arrived; as I had to wait a bit to be seated, and then be greeted by the waitress. Once, I was finally greeted by the waitress she was really nice and fairly attentive; I almost felt as if I was being treated like a very important guest. I noticed that each of the waitresses and waiters were doing their utmost to be this way with all the guests. It was almost like everyone was family. The employees they have at this location are top-notch, not what you’d expect to see really, I enjoyed every bit of my interactions here. The food was fantastic as well, and it came out in record time, I barely had to wait; it was if I blinked and poof it was there and perfectly made too, was fresh, hot, splendidly portioned. They didn’t skimp on the food like some resturants may do just to save costs.

I order food once or twice a month and I always and I mean always, have something missing. Everytime I call the mgr to talk about. He either refunds money or saves my missing order for my next trip in. I cannot call this time.It is time to find another country restaurant. Cracker barrel food is always delicious but your service is absolutely horrible. As a local business owner I could never run my business this way, service come 1st. Eating out is extremely expensive and having to go back to pickup missing items or not receive the items because you didn’t double check the receipt is just lazy.

Our family went in for breakfast 8/31/25 & although our waiter was decent the food was awful.. he brought biscuits out and the plates he gave us had food stuck all over them.. he brought our drinks & I found food stuck on the inside of my cup ..my food had a piece of white string from fabric …and my daughter ordered kids pancakes and it had something green cooked inside of the pancake we took one of the pieces of green stuff out of it and then another was found ..our server forgot about her eggs so I had to remind him. Unfortunately I didn’t get a pic of the fabric string and dirty plates or food in the cup but it was awful .
