Well they no longer serve liver and onions, but I had Shepards pie and it was pretty good. My wife had the sampler and it was more than she could eat, and she can put some food away, so that should tell you the portions are plentiful. Atmosphere has not changed, even though they threatened us. Our actress was great, and so friendly. I look forward to our next visit.

Horrible survice.. Will not be going back. Waitress actually jurked the menu out of my mother-in-laws hands. She had food missing from her order, and the Waitress didnt want her to read what came with the menu. Went 6 months or so ago and the meatloaf was sliced 1/8 to 1/4 thick. Horrible meals.

Came in on a Saturday evening, 20 min wait ,no problem. 20 minutes on food still no problem. Me and my brother got the uncle hersals breakfast he ordered grits as his extra side and I did fries , he ended up with 2 orders on grits no gravy , I ended up with two orders of hash brown casserole, no gravey. The wife ordered the chicken dinner with pintos and greens ,ended up with no greens. Never got this kinda service from Cracker barrel before ,but doubtful if I will return to the one in Morgantown nc.

Waited longer than originally told us, signed up for rewards and was told I could get a free appetizer, ordered an appetizer, went to pay and they said oh the free appetizer is in your next visit. Had I known that I wouldn’t have ordered one. Water ran out numerous time, forgot my husband’s slaw, and his catfish wasn’t salt and pepper, the waitress said the kitchen staff must have forgotten. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive

I ordered turkey and dressing since that was the days special . Sweet potato casserole tasted sour! My son took a bite and told me not to eat anymore of it. On top of turkey I couldn’t tell you what it was. Not gravy! Large pieces of celery (alot) in turkey flavored water. I have never had bad food at Cracker Barrel before but now I am going to think twice before going again.

Four of us recently met for dinner at the Morganton NC location. Our server Jordan, was absolutely wonderful. She was very friendly, and prompt with bringing items we asked for. She was one of the best servers we have ever encountered. I also called to let management know. Those who go above and beyond deserve to be recognized for their service.

Our server gave us very poor service. She took a while to come and take our order. We had a party of 6. So after maybe 30 minutes or more, we got our food. It wasn’t that busy that night. We did not get our biscuits or cornbread until we finished our food and that was because we had to ask for them. In the meantime we were trying to get her attention, but she was too busy talking to a couple beside us. We are not persons to complain, but honestly she does not need to be a waitress if she does not even have the attitude to attend customers.
I’m hoping maybe she was having a bad day and she is not always like this. We love Cracker Barrel and usually go in the morning or for lunch, but this visit we thought we would have our Christmas with part of our family.

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 different times. Always want to give an eatry another chance. And sadly, I’ve been so disappointed with both the food and service. Biscuits have been hard every time. I’ve been told it’s because “we” expected more people, the servers don’t seem to care, tey and get a refill on your coffee. The French Toast is nasty, scrambled eggs . Up in Ohio and Indiana, one of the best places to eat. Morganton, NC. I wouldn’t bring my family again.

My grandmother and I stopped in today for lunch. I had the pot roast for the first time and it was delicious! Our server was Jasmine and she was so polite and did a wonderful job serving us! We will be back asap!
