We brought the Sprinter up to the North Carolina mountains and spent the night in their parking lot. Arriving not too late in the evening but not hungry, we took a look through the store and bought a few lemon sugar sticks after visiting the clean restrooms.

We had a tasty, delicious, mountain view breakfast yesterday here. So awesome! I could eat Crackle Barrell every day if I wasn’t maintaining my weight. I had the BEST grilled chicken salad! The mountains were breathtaking!

Everything was generous and delicious except the pinto beans tasted soured. I got sick the next morning with Dirrehera. But the waitress was great and everything was yummy otherwise. I do not recommend the pinto beans, but everything else is delicious.

Our experience was pretty good. We came her mid afternoon as my first choice has their dining room closed and only drive thru open. We were greeted pleasantly right away by the customer service in the outer shop area, then seated without much wait by the restaurant hostess. Our server was with us almost as soon as seated. We both ordered the fried chicken dinner. A few minutes later, our server came out and apologized that there was no chicken prepared but that she got on to her manager who was battering more chicken if we wanted to wait the extra 15 minutes for our meals. We were ok with that, so she brought us our cornbread and biscuits for the wait. It turned out to be worth the wait! Our chicken was hot and crispy and delicious! A short time later, the manager came out to apologize for the delay and ask if we were satisfied with our meals. On checkout, I even found a candy bar I had been looking for for quite a while (thanks to the helpful shop CA). All in all, it was a very good experience! We both thought the prices were better than fair, considering we got meals as opposed to sandwich plates anywhere else.

This cracker barrel is great. There are a lot of college students so plenty of sorry, good workers. The service was excellent. The food was good (we had breakfast) and the bonus of shopping is always a welcome thing.
