This, is by far, the best place in all of Jacksonville to go for a filling meal and a heartwarming environment. I always get the same thing: the Country Fried Steak, Scrambled Eggs, and Hash Brown Casserole. It’s always perfectly cooked and served hot. I definitely recommend registering online a head of time to get in the queue, otherwise the wait to get in could be substantial, especially on a Sunday! My only real complaint is the size of the Country Store. It’s a little cramped for the amount of people that come in.

Jacksonville Crackel Barrel is definitely my foundation brunch spot. Clean facility and even when it is busy the staff effectively clear tables. I have been here around 20 times and have never waited over 15mins to be seated.

My daughter and I wasn’t able to eat much of ourr meal. Fried chicken tasted like it was deep fried in old grease and my pinto beans tasted really old and extremely salty. Daughter had the same problem with chicken. Very surprised by this. Was here a couple weeks ago and everything was delicious. Very sad fried turkey was taken from menu, too! Really what my husband and I came back for.

Our server was really friendly and helpful. The food came out not long after ordering. I got the smoky southern grilled chicken with carrots and fried okra. The okra was ok, but the chicken and carrots were very good. Great flavor and tenderness with the chicken, and the carrots were really soft. Their corn bread here is ok, not the best but not bad.

I ordered to go dinner from here today. I ordered the chef salad it was good, but they forgot the cheese. That is one problem at this location. If you order take out, you have to check your order carefully because they forget items frequently. The staff is always friendly, and the store part is always stocked with cool stuff. A great place to pick up family holiday decor.

Upon arrival to the restaurant I was greeted by a member of the staff, she was very respectful and helpful. I was seated within 5 minutes of walking into the restaurant, as soon as we sat down the waitress came and took our drink orders and within minutes took my food order. The food was good, I would recommend this place to family and friends.
