You’d think Concord / Kannapolis would have a good Cracker Barrel but this is the worst one we’ve ordered from. They missed the mark TWICE in a row turning what should’ve been relaxing dinner experiences into disappointments and blatant disrespect.
The first time we ordered about a year ago on Doordash, they completely missed a side leaving only the meat with nothing else to pair it with. We let it slide but we were pretty frustrated.
Today, 8/12/25, we made the mistake of giving them another chance, using THEIR website to place the order, and sure enough they fumbled AGAIN!
We paid extra for Hashbrowns Casserole Tots, we checked the bag before leaving and they were not there. I went in to ask for them and was told they didn’t have tots anymore. So yall decided to not give a side AT ALL??? A side a we paid extra for?? They said they could replace with loaded hashbrowns instead. They didn’t. When we got home we realized they gave us normal hashbrowns, which was a free side to begin with so we paid extra for no reason.
We also ordered a Bacon Hashbrown Casserole only to realize there was no bacon so i basically got a massive side without the meat. It’s literally in the name of the dish, how you gonna serve a bacon casserole without bacon, make it make sense. Also, 2 orders of pancakes and only 1 bottle of syrup? Come on…
Yall have been playing with our money, not providing what you are charging us for. There won’t be a third time. We’re done.
Whoever has the initials BS was in charge of quality check for our order at 7:37pm on 8/12/25 and they did not do their job well at all. Unless that means Bullshit because that’s what this whole experience has been.
Don’t waste your time, skip this location and go to iHop, Waffle House, or any local breakfast joint instead. We used to love cracker barrel, yall broke our heart :((((((((

I was impressed with Sarah, who helped me surprise my husband with a gift from the gift store. Sarah was knowledgeable kind and very helpful. Our server was very nice however he really didn’t know how to answer questions about the menu, so I thought he might have been new. The food at Cracker Barrel was horrible and we probably won’t be back. It was the second time we ate there and the food was not hot and had very little flavor.

I had a terrible experience at that Cracker Barrel and I won’t return to that store ever again. 1) Poor quality food – I got a New York Strip steak unchewable full of sinew and my wife got the Pork Ribs with a lot of gristle. I separated the pieces 2) Felt disrespected – The waitress saw it, offered a replacement, I accepted the offer, she took my plate to the kitchen, but brought it back saying they couldn’t replace since the store manager said I had eaten too much of it already, and gave the same plate back from the kitchen (what?!) – first of all, I never asked for it, and I felt like they thought I was trying to take advantage of them; second of all, waitress offered replacement two times, I didn’t ask for it, the manager shouldn’t have changed a decision taken on those cases, but honor their word given and instruct waitress for next time talk to manager first (customer service 101). 3) it was a busy night and waited too long for a table I was with my wife, two toddlers and an infant.

Normally Cracker Barrel stores in general are pretty good, reasonable value for money with competent service, but not this one.
Meatloaf was dry, catfish served without tartar sauce which could have been remedied if our server had the inclination to return to the table to check on us.

My experience was awful!!! I got seated and they forgot my mother and I was there to be served. Never got a drink or my order taken. NEVER EVER WILL I RETURN. The sad part is, is they don’t know who I am, what I have or anything. I guess I wasn’t the right color. Have a great day. Ignorance is bliss!!!!!!!!

Disclaimer, I work for this company in a different area and brand, and branch. However, Charlie or “Chuck” our server was one of the best I’ve ever had. I believe we had him in this same location 2 years ago and he was so good I told them GM he was stellar in his service. He got him again and he was always there when we needed it, never hovered, joked with all his tables, and had the most positive additude ever. Amazing!
