The food came out hot and juicy! The waitress refilled our drinks and rolls and checked on us a few times. It was clean and smelled nice. I enjoyed the gift shop most of all… not sure what soap or sachet I was smelling, but one of them smelled amazing. Got a toy for my sweet little baby cousin. Found a pair of chicken slippers! Love them! Great place to eat when you’re traveling.

Atmosphere is irrelevant.
Waitress was rarely seen, spoke so softly that it was impossible to hear her in such a noisy environment.
Two children with me, one orders the tenders meal, the other ordered Mac and Cheese meal, was brought a side dish of Mac & Cheese.
Country fried steak & Dumplings for me. Ron temperature dumplings and cold gravy for the steak.
Unbelievably slow service, Saturday afternoon @ 445, pretty slow in here, our food came to the table at 540 while tables around us have come and gone.
Understandably chain places aren’t great but holy smokes this place is terrible.

The Cracker Barrel in Rocky Mount was at a convenient location for our purposes. It was clean and attractive in appearance. The menu was the same as other Cracker Barrel locations and the food was delicious For dinner, we tried the trout dinner and the pancakes and eggs entree. Both were very good. Our waitress was upbeat, friendly and polite. She efficiently took our order and checked in with us several times as our meal progressed. We will stop at this location again when we are in the area.

Not salty at all. Highly appreciate that this is left to the customer to adjust the salt level of the food! ️⭐️❣️
Clean facilities and attentive staff.

I was looking for comfort food when we went to Cracker Barrel. The food was hit or miss: we started off with the new breakfast rolls and they were warm and frosted. They weren’t homemade, so they don’t get 5 stars…. I ordered chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce as my main dish, with corn and carrots as side dishes. The chicken was crunchy but not very plump; the pieces were kind of skimpy. The corn was fine (just like you get out of a can). The carrots were nice and sweet but over cooked and too soft. Normally I love their carrots but today it felt a little like baby food. The corn bread that came with the meal was awesome, especially with butter and jelly.
The service was really great. The server was on the ball, professional while being relatable, and very quick.
The atmosphere was standard Cracker Barrel…. except for the smell. The smell that hit me when I walked in the door was NOT okay. It was almost a weird barn smell–?!?! Then walking into the store didn’t smell much better. The actual restaurant itself smelled sort of neutral, thank goodness.

We went to get some brunch today. And we had the best waitress, Grayson, a true, sweet girl and she had the best personality and sense of humor, we laughed with her during our entire meal there each time she came to or passed by our table., I liked her a lot and I definitely will go back and hopefully she’ll be working because she’s quite entertaining and very personable., a true southern gal at heart. Also I was craving their blueberry pancakes with those crispy wedges and some crispy bacon, so I had a short stack of blueberries and my crispy bacon, and it’s it was so fantastic. It satisfied my cravings, and my son ended up getting the Grandma sampler with a little bit of everything and he really liked his too. I definitely do recommend this cracker barrel. And their store. I get lost in there…

Let me begin by saying they were not busy … To start, we had cold biscuits. Then when we order, they are out of mashed potatoes at 6:00 on a Sat afternoon. When we get our food the chicken fried chicken is so hard I couldn’t even stab it with a knife! It was nothing but CRUNCH!! Then I taste my turnips and not only were they cold, they had a sour taste to them. *And I get that every time so I know what taste like. So the waitress takes the chicken and the turnips to the back and apologizes. After my fiance finishes eating, the waitress comes out with 1 small piece of the chicken and says that’s all they have ready. So, I just all hey to charge me for my 2 sides. The waitress was wonderful, it was not her fault at all. Then we get to the counter to pay and the guy asked how everything was … I asked could I speak to a manager for a second. He asked for a manager to come up front. And then tells me they are busy so I would have to wait awhile!! SERIOUSLY!!! DO BETTER!!!

The steak was very tough & the server didn’t seem to like people. I will not be dining in Rocky Mount again. We stopped there because cracker barrel is normally a safe bet that everyone will enjoy their meal regardless the town.

We are a big fan of Cracker Barrel, whenever we travel, we always check if there is a Cracker Barrel on the way so we can stop over to have dinner or lunch.
This location has disappointed us, probably because we arrived at 7pm on a Sunday night.
The atmosphere is nice as all Cracker Barrels are, the service at first was good, our server was nice, attentive but after taking order, we started to feel that he was probably ready wanting to end his shift, the food were served without cutlery and it took him a while to bring it out after we asked, other staffs started to clean other tables and put the chair on the table while us and other customers are eating.
My husband’s meat loaf was very dry and portion looked small. My shepherd’s pie was super oily and the meat in the pie was hard and black.
We hope Cracker Barrel will make more effort to control and make all CB at least at their high standard.

Cracker Barrel is always a welcomed stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This time we visited the restaurant in Florence, South Carolina.
The foods was good, as usual. The service was good as usual. We had a very good server, a young man who was extremely attentive to our needs. His name was Cole. Very personable. Very accommodating. Very professional. The kind of person you want when you attend a restaurant.
And a visit into the store is always fun. Loads of comfort snacks and good clothing items and gifts.
Always a good experience. We look for Cracker Barrel all the time when we’re on a road trip.
