I have eaten at a number of Cracker Barrels in many states and have always had a positive experience. I can’t say that for the one on Henderson, SC. The service was very slow, although the restaurant wasn’t full. We were seated after a short wait of 10 mins but took at least 10 additional minutes before the server came to our table. The drinks were ordered, the food order was placed, and once the traditional bread, jelly, and butter was served, we ate with our hands as we waited for silverware. My food was cold, the fish was burned, there was no gravy on the mashed potatoes, and I couldn’t eat it. Because we had waited so long I didn’t send it back… a waste of money. To the credit of our server, Jennifer, she tried to make the experience “nice,” but it was apparent she was running between 3 tables as we made our needs known. When in town again, I will skip Cracker Barrel and try my luck somewhere else.

Service was great. We were there at 10:30 am. Not busy at all but still took 46 minutes to get our food. Taste was 5/10 temperature of food 6/10. Looks nice on the plate but definitely lacking. Not the same as it use to be.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. The place was crowded and understaffed. The medium well steak I ordered came out well done to a crisp. The pancakes were rubbery and they served the syrup in plastic container instead of bottles. Also we waited what seemed to be a long period of time to get our food. Hopefully they do better when they’re not as busy but I was disappointed.

Don’t bother. Showed up to have a family lunch and was told 30 minutes to seat 4. Ok, no issue there it was Sunday after all. 40 minutes later we went to the hostess to ask for an update. We were told that 5 seatings were in front of us and it would be at least 45 minutes or more (over the 30 minutes originally quoted) as the Manager had told staff to stop seating people because the kitchen had gotten behind. You would think the manager would inform guests that the 30 minute wait would now be an hour and 1/2 or longer.

I got the Smoky Southern Grilled chicken salad with greens cucumbers tomatoes cheese croutons boiled eggs and crackers. Very large portion and the blue cheese dressing was yummy! My husband got the same but with the fried chicken. Best place to get a really great salad! Well worth the $10.99

When traveling around the country, Cracker Barrel is almost always to go to. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for this particular location. The food on my last visit was not on par. Three of us attended. My mother’s meal was complete, but she was not overly impressed. My meal was missing the gravy for the biscuits. It took repeated requests to get that fixed. My friend from out of town had grits with his meal. He could not eat it as it was watery grits soup. It would have been more appropriate to put it in a cup for drinking. Even though we set at the table closest to the kitchen, keeping our coffee filled was an effort. The place was about half full. But the waitress seemed to be overwhelmed even at that reduced level.

Had their pancakes there, and they are one of the best. Really awesome service they came to us very often to check up on us. The atmosphere is actually different than the other cracker barrels, which is pretty cool

A very pleasant atmosphere. We were seated very fast. Our waitress was very polite and very attentive. I ordered the southern fried chicken, the chicken was extremely fresh and hot. It could’ve of been seasoned more. I enjoyed the meal. One of the more enjoyable Cracker Barrel I’ve been to.

Everyone was friendly and the food was great. I don’t usually make fried chicken so when I come here I order it and it doesn’t disappoint. I also love shopping here before or after. Just a great family environment.
