I have continually enjoyed stopping for a meal at the Cracker Barrells across the eastern United States. I was sorry to see the store in Portland, Maine was closed! Every place I’ve stopped: Ft. Myers, FL, Tallahassee, FL, Chattanooga, Knoxville, & Johnson City, TN, Hilliard, OH, Rochester, NY, Albany, NY, Londonderry, NH, greater Baltimore, MD, and Wilkes Barre, PA – I have yet to be disappointed by either the food or the friendliness of the staff. I can count on a decent meal at a decent price in what I consider a relaxed and home-spun (namely positive) atmosphere. I really appreciate seeing the Cracker Barrell sign along the roadways. I wish there were more along the less traveled US Highways that I use when I’m on my motorcycle!

One of the few big chain restaurants I’ll actually eat at and/or enjoy. Their pancakes have gotten sadder-looking over the years, but the new menu items are usually pretty neat. The Oreo cheesecake pancakes were dangerously good and I approve of the strawberry French toast bake from the bite I stole from my girlfriend. Chicken dippers were a bit chewy, but still good; the sauce selection/variety was nice too. Hash brown casserole was solid.
Service was cheerful, but our waitress kept forgetting stuff or taking too long for basic items.
Prices are pretty good.

It’s the scenery, location of the Cracker Barrel, and customer service that I feel set this location apart from the others. First off let’s talk about the view of the lovely mountains in the background. It’s so relaxing and beautiful. It’s a breathtaking view! The staff members here were great, they were quick to serve us. Find us preferred seating, and most importantly, made our experience wonderful by sharing details about the area and things to do nearby. The store section of the Cracker Barrel was amazing. There are so many unique items and I love that the cashier was able to help me recommend a good souvenir for my girlfriend. Overall, this location was just so amazing. I really enjoyed the food, customer service, but most importantly, just the location you couldn’t pick a better spot for a restaurant

We stopped by this Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had the Old Timers Breakfast. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent! Oh I must also mention the delicious coffee and free refills! Go and get ya some!

It’s Cracker Barrel….over time, they have improved and pared their menu, added adult beverages, and still serve good comfort food. A nice +… We arrived about 20 minutes prior to the start of serving lunch and were still able to order from the lunch menu without waiting.

Not happy with the food on this visit in Morgantown wv. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The cheese was not real cheese. It was imitation cheese and it was awful. The fries were over cooked. My mom had breakfast and her sausage was no bigger the a 50 cent piece and so hard she couldn’t finish it. I have been taking my mom to cracker barrel for years and since there has been changes its no fun any more. This last visit was a big disappointment. The store is still the same and enjoyable. But don’t like the changed menu or the food quality.

I didn’t like the chicken fried steak too much. Biscuits too were not the greatest. The atmosphere is great though. I am rating you against Huddle house and there the food is great, service is warm and welcoming and very friendly. Service and atmosphere here too was great. food, for the second time, not so great.

I came into town with a company of 14 in our group. We were staying in the Fairfield hotel next door and so I wanted to get everyone dinner after long travels. My assistant arrived at 9:38pm and was told the kitchen was closed. So she waited outside in the rain till I arrived. At 9:43 I arrived and the doors were locked. All we wanted was some quick food to go to take back to our hotel. We would of been okay with anything. Called the store at 9:51pm and spoke with someone, a gentleman who said they were closed and we should have come in earlier that the kitchen was already closed and clean.
I am in the food business and a national chef. If your sign says 10Pm you serve till 10pm.
They lost 6 days of 14 people, 3 meals a day in sales. In today’s world and economy, that’s a profit. But now we have contracted with Chili’s down the road to provide a variety of meals for the next 6 days. I called them after hours and the manager was on the ball and even provided us with some meals at 10:30pm. Thank you Chili’s for for going above and beyond.
