You know what you’re getting when you go to Cracker Barrel. Usually good service and nearly always great food. Today I got the Southern Fried Chicken dinner with steak fries and fried apples. All came out warm and delicious. The chicken has a very good taste, just don’t compare it to KFC, it’s different but still very good. We had to wave down our server to get butter and a tea refill, but she was mainly very attentive.

The stop at Cracker Barrel was what I was expecting. Consistent good food, quick. I got there right at the end of rush hour for lunch and everything went very smooth. The only thing is my server never came back to ask if I needed more coffee or we needed anything else at all, only trying to upsell desserts.

Who doesn’t enjoy Cracker Barrel?! I prefer this location in Cross Lanes. Very friendly fast staff. My meal came out quickly and tasted very good. And, they now serve alcohol if you were not aware!

We were wrapping up a 12 day, 3,600 mile trip and this Cracker Barrel was our last dining stop before landing home. Clean restaurant, VERY pleasant waitress (Linda), clean restrooms, and AWESOME food. Both wife and I got the meatloaf dinner, and I opted for carrots and mashed potatoes for sides. The food arrived at the table hot, and were were ready to continue our journey home.

Always a great experience at every location I visit. The employees, the food and the service are always pleasant. It’s one of my favorite restaurants that I usually only get to visit while on vacation. Such was the case with this visit. Spent a girls weekend away and got to enjoy both breakfast and dinner here!

This a great restaurant chain that always has good found and good prices. If you want a down home country food experience, this would the place. The dining is like taking a step back in time with all of the antiques hung on the walls that just adds to the “Old Country Store” atmosphere. They’re bound to have something on the menu for all tastes. They waitress was thoughtful and attentive. We had a good time eating here. We will definitely come back to it when in town here or any place.

I ordered 2 chicken dumpling dinners to go with corn and mashed potatoes. The sorriest meal I ever had! The chicken was scarce! And the dumplings tasted like they were cooked in NOTHING BUT WATER! NO CHICKEN BROTH OR CHICKEN GRAVY! DABBLE OF COLD MASHED POTATOES AND PROBABLY 3 TABLESPOON OF CORN. After driving from Hurricane to Cross Lanes and back. It all went in the trash. I had decent dumplings before that! Generous helping and good country homemade mouthwatering taste. Somebody can’t cook. Complete waste of time and money!! I’d b ashamed

I ordered biscuits and gravy and asked the waitress if it was 2 biscuits for the dish. She smiled and said no, now you get 3! I’m thinking I’ll never be able to eat that much! Oh, how wrong I was … yes they brought 3 biscuits with a small CUP of gravy for them! It barely was enough gravy for 2 biscuits and that was skimping. I complained to the waitress and she replied that that was the proper amount of gravy and asked if I wanted a container for the remaining biscuit. I asked her why I would want to take it with me, when there was nothing available to put on it. There was no jelly, honey, or butter on the table.

Food and service was not up to Cracker Barrel standard. Mashed potatoes were cold and very hard. Everything else was good. Also, charging $5 for 1 small pancake was very excessive to my opinion.
