Best Cracker Barrel experience of my life. The second we entered, we were greeted. We were seated immediately. Our server (Abi, maybe) was top notch, and her vibe was that she loved her job. The food was unmatched in quality, accuracy, temperature, and taste. The cashier was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Couldn’t have been better!

This location is just terrible. Last week we visited this location for the first time and there was a girl walking around with an ipad telling everyone to sign up for rewards and they can get a free appetizer “today” when it came time to check out cracker barrel had not updated their system yet so I guess I did not get the email required for the free appetizer (none of this was mentioned) so they made us pay for the $7 appetizer we wouldve never ordered so its a great way to increase their sales and tips! We thought it was just a bad day so we came back today and our experience made sure we will never come back. We upgraded our side to “loaded hashbrowns” and when our plate came out it was just hashbrowns with a sprinkle of cheese. We mentioned this to our server because we have to pay for the extra cheese and bacon that comes on the loaded hashbrowns. She said “im just not really seeing whats wrong with your order” and when we explained it she said “if you think it’s wrong we can remake it” unless i am a literal idiot, theres no bacon on these but please correct me if I am wrong! Then we went to check out and the cashier completely ignored us, took a woman who just walked up next to us instead of us who were standing there, and when the customer apologized she said nothing. Just a bunch of rude and inconsiderate people working here.

Disappointing Experience at Cracker Barrel – Poor Customer Service from Server Shelley
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Cracker Barrel. Unfortunately, the poor customer service from our server, Shelley, overshadowed the food, making it a frustrating experience.
Despite Shelley’s badge boasting a “5-star” rating, our experience was far from stellar. It took an hour to receive our food, and even then, we had to actively seek her out to request a box. But the worst part was yet to come – waiting for the check.
I waited for another hour for the check to arrive, and when it didn’t, I had to take matters into my own hands. I went to ask the hostess for help in finding Shelley, but even she seemed to be taking her sweet time. It was clear that no one was in a hurry to provide us with the service we deserved.
What made this experience even more disappointing was that the restaurant wasn’t even busy. There were plenty of empty tables, and it seemed like the staff had ample time to attend to their customers. Yet, Shelley still managed to provide subpar service, and the hostess seemed unconcerned with our frustration.
I was left with the impression that Shelley’s “5-star” rating must have been a mistake. As a server, she seemed disinterested, unattentive, and unapologetic about the poor service.
Disappointing Aspects:
– Extremely slow service
– Shelley seemed disinterested and unattentive
– Poor communication and follow-through
– Lack of effort from Shelley despite the restaurant not being busy
– Hostess seemed unconcerned with customer frustration
Suggestions for Improvement:
– Provide better training for servers on customer service and attentiveness
– Ensure servers are managing their tables effectively and asking for help when needed
– Improve communication between servers and customers
– Hold staff accountable for providing quality service, regardless of the restaurant’s busyness
– Ensure hostesses are empowered to assist customers and resolve issues promptly
*Tips for Future Visitors:*
– Be prepared for potential slow service and plan accordingly
– Don’t hesitate to ask for a manager or another server if you’re not receiving adequate attention
– Consider visiting during off-peak hours to avoid potential wait times

The entire experience was not good. I ordered steak and eggs, had to send the steak back. It was nothing but grissel. I asked for eggs over medium and they were fried solid , hash brown casserole was cold.
When we went in and was seated I asked for a bigger table and it seemed like that was an issue. The staff kept asking the waiter why we set whete we did. I explained that if they were not happy with where I set , I could take my business elsewhere. Overall experience will really make me think hard before returning.

Our server Aleesha was outstanding and could not have been better. The food was also incredible. In all my years of visiting numerous Cracker Barrels, this was the absolute best experience ever!

Yes! Finally, the quality of the traditional food we love. Best pecan pancakes I’ve had for a couple years. Was thrilled to find out that they were still available. Others at the table were pleased with what they ordered. (I didn’t have any biscuits, but they weren’t up to par – little and hard?) Bathrooms were clean. Wait time? No wait – except when checking out. That could be improved upon. If clerks are present, they need to be able to grab a register to take care of the line – and also be trained to be aware of the line forming. Based on this visit, I’ll be more tempted to return to a Cracker Barrel in the future.

My adult son and I were there for Thanksgiving dinner after my dad passed away. We were away from home and it was a difficult day. The warmth of the restaurant and staff helped make us feel a bit better. Servers were so attentive and kind, knew the menu options well, and we’re attentive without being overbearing. He had the vegetable platter and I had the traditional Thanksgiving platter. We were very thankful we had a place to go and have a holiday meal together.

We were seated immediately. It was late breakfast early lunch time. We only were given breakfast menus. I heard a couple of people asking for lunch. But that was ok. There were a good number of servers. We did wait a long time before our server came around but the hostess saw that and came and took our drink orders. Our server did apologize for the delay and gave us a free dessert card. Friendly staff and our meals were exactly what we ordered.
