Cracker Barrel is a great place to stop for breakfast when on the road, and this location continues to hold that high standard. Excellent and quick service, and piping hot breakfast prepared exactly to order. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The blueberry pancakes were exceptionally good, especially when paired with their pure maple syrup. Cracker Barrel breakfast is the perfect way to get started for the rest of your day.

They have some new sauces that are intended for the chicken but I got one for a steak since I was eating low carb and I really enjoyed them. It really elevated the meat and the eggs that I had. The atmosphere is always a trip down memory lane and makes you think you’re eating in an old country store out west somewhere. The service was good the food was good and I really enjoy all of the options of confection and chocolate in the store on your way out the door. This place is very busy during breakfast hours especially on the weekend. Expect a wait but worth the inconvenience.

I placed an order through DoorDash, and when the Dasher arrived to my house, it was the wrong order. Therefore, we gave it back to him, and he said that he would pick up our correct order at the restaurant. The restaurant originally attached my receipt to the wrong order in error resulting in another customer getting my food. Therefore, I placed a re-order through DoorDash and I also called the restaurant requesting that they please attach the right receipt to the correct order. When I received my food other than the pancakes, this is all that I got. You would’ve thought that I would’ve got a larger portion size, considering I was inconvenienced at the error of the restaurant and not Door Dash. When I called the store, the cashier was not sympathetic at all. Usually, I do not have this type of problem with Cracker Barrel, but this time they failed to provide a great customer experience.

This review goes out to the staff of the Cracker Barrel in Charleston,WV. Misty and Amelia are absolutely awesome and on point when it came to delivering our massive order and fully setting it up. They both are upbeat and have epic personalities. We were missing a order of grilled chicken and we called the store and the person who answered the phone and the management were so understand and explained what happened. The staff took ownership of the missing food item and got it delivered to us lightning fast. Autumn in the regional catering ordering manager and she is beyond amazing to work with. She truly is a backbone of the company ensuring everything gets done with easy.

Cracker Barrell.at least twice a week. Love the food, gift shop, management and employees. i love the fried catfiish and was very happy to see it stay on the menu. The last visit on 2-14-26 i stopped to get an order as a surprise to take to a sick uncle. I will always remember his reaction and smile on his face as he ate.I live 30 miles away and love the same Cracker Barrell
location. Never think about going to any other location even though there is another location in the area. They are top notch and I highly recommend when ever I can to my friends.

Cracker Barrel has been a breakfast stop on most of my family road trips over the years. It was always convenient to find one around most of the United States and when our sons were young. My mom and I always loved looking at things in the gift shop which probably drives my husband crazy to this day. I know it’s not supposed to be a stop for shopping but they have some unique things in their store. This time stopping in Charleston, West Virginia (after being in the car for 6 hours) was a welcome break. Our waitress was so accommodating. Our food was good but I wish the grits and coffee were better. Also, I didn’t realize we have to order the biscuits. Didn’t the biscuits, jellies and jams come out to the table for free back in the day? Maybe I’m imagining things… Anyway, out of many locations visited over the years, I would say this is a good one because how I’m treated is going to make a big difference. Everyone from my waitress, a manager, the cashier and staff I passed were friendly!

The staff at the Charleston, WV Cracker Barrel location was polite, but lacked ambition. My family and I were quickly seen at the Hostess Stand and led to our table, but the number of empty tables that were still dirty was difficult to miss; they outnumbered the tables prepared for new guests. This would be easier to understand if every staff member was busy, but they weren’t. The restrooms hadn’t been attended for some time, and the trash was neglected. I’m also unsure if Cracker Barrel is still serving Biscuits and/or Cornbread with each meal; if so, this was never offered or received. Lastly, I ordered a side of fried okra and was disappointed to see eight (8) pieces of okra when my food was delivered. I understand portion distribution, but with the amount of okra received, I very well may have not ordered the side at all and received these as a fluke in the system. All in all, I was disappointed with this location.

The menu changes are not good. The food was good you didn’t need the pictures and the poorly constructed menus.Old fashioned home cooked out the door.. Chicken fried in very old grease. Menu selections minimal. This is definitely not Crackle Barrel anymore. The food menu definitely fits the sign proposal that flopped. I’ve eaten here for years and always pleased. I WIĹL NOT BE BACK AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS. WERE market studies conducted before these changes were made????

Our food was okay. My mom ordered coffee as soon as we sat down and didn’t get her first cup until after our entree’s were served. Our waiter’s personality was pretty dry. My youngest son told him that he hoped he had a great rest of his day. All he said was alright. He was definitely not very friendly.
