The food was good. I love that the hamburger steak was added back to the menu; although the hamburger steak was over cooked. I asked for well done, so thats on me, I thought it would still be juicy, it was not. My grandchildren’s meals were perfect. The waitress was delightful at the beginning of our meal. She was given a 20 top and therefore we did not see her again until our meal was finished. I would have liked more tea. I am not blaming her, I really think my table should have been handed off to another server.

I have been going to this location for almost 6 years now. Today we had the most exceptional server we have ever had, Reese T! He was so attentive and kind. under one of the bestest times. He made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant! We never had to ask for a refill once and our table was always cleared and clean! I would definitely request him to be our server again!

Our family of three visited the Cracker Barrel on Wards Road in Lynchburg, Virginia on Monday, January 19th. Our fantastic server, Chase, provided excellent service and made sure we had a great dining experience. He checked on us regularly, kept our drinks refilled, and truly made us feel welcome. Every entrée was excellent—my husband was especially happy to see the hamburger steak back on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered the chicken and dumplings, crispy homestyle chicken, salad, potato soup, and finished with the chocolate Coca-Cola cake for dessert. Everything was served fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning. Great job, Cracker Barrel!

We loved this Cracker Barrel! The store was beautifully maintained, staff was trained, polite, helpful. Breakfast service was with minimal wait( taking into consideration that it’s right next door to Liberty University that is a coup d’etat) and the food was fresh, well prepared and very satisfying. It was a wonderful family experience. Please try the new Strawberry cream cheese french toast and the biscuits beignets.

I’ve visited this place twice in the past 2 weeks and have a great experience each time. You receive a good amount of food for the price. Customer service is top notch. Both times we did not have a wait. The atmosphere, a very friendly and homey feeling. We had no problems finding a parking spot. They do have a ramp for those that may need it to enter the restaurant. Everything is clean including the bathrooms.
The fried pork chops, you do need to add a little more crisp to them.

We walked in right before closing and asked for a to-go order. It was a Sunday night and we knew we were cutting it close, but the host/manager was very kind and assured us we were no bother and treated us so well. I felt bad getting there so late, but we were not treated as an annoyance. I always love feeling at home at Cracker Barrel

We’ve got a routine when we come out to Lynchburg and CB is ALWAYS on that list! Every meal I’ve ever had was VERY good but Tuesdays…Pork Chops are my absolute FAV! In fact I have my mother make her appts on Tuesday if at all possible reminds me of the meals my grandmother made growing up! And service is always top notch like your family member is serving you. Annndd the fire place burning is always a plus

Everything has changed so much since the last time I went. We went at lunchtime. I got the catfish coleslaw and turnip greens, I am not kidding you, the greens were like my Mama always cooked plenty of great seasoning and catfish supurb, the waiter so nice, took time to make sure glass of tea was always full.
