I stopped here with my daughter and son for lunch on the way to Pigeon Forge on November 30th. It was busy, as to be expected, but honestly the wait wasn’t as bad as we expected. We were greeted with enthusiastic smiles and kind tones. When we were seated our waitress, Geneva, handled our service. She was absolutely wonderful! We never waited for a drink refill and she was quick to answer all of our questions. She checked on us enough that we didn’t have any unattended to, but not so much that we felt hovered over. She was so pleasant and her smile made our day. We will certainly stop here again on future trips!

We’ve always wanted to try a Cracker Barrel and I’m so happy that our first experience was here. Our waitress Brooklyn was phenomenal! She made us feel so welcomed in this small town. She gave us all the ins and outs of Wythville. She recommended places to visit, etc. Brooklyn provided superb customer service. We really enjoyed the crunchy fried chicken. It lives up to it’s name with the crunchiness. I wasn’t a fan of the country gravy, so Brooklyn brought me a side of brown gravy. The food portions were large. You will not leave there hungry. The broccoli was steamed and very good. The side salad was very crisp and served with a thick and tasty ranch dressing. If in the future we are passing through we’d definitely stop in again. My only disappointment was that they do not serve the fried chicken during the week. I was really looking forward to trying it since it is advertised on most billboards I’ve seen.

This is the Cracker Barrel in Wytheville Virginia. The staff here is very friendly and our waitress Jamie was amazing. The food was excellent and properly cooked and arrived warm. I have been to others we have not received the same quality of food. But here it was really really good. I highly recommend this location. Friendly service and pretty quick considering how full the restaurant was. Five stars Cracker Barrel in Wytheville Virginia! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Better than some of the other locations I have visited. We arrived around 3:00. It wasn’t very busy, possibly because it was cold and blowing snow. Food was good, server was very polite and good arrived within a reasonable amount of time.

Staff was extremely friendly but the food was Luke warm at best. My wife had to send back her biscuits & gravy & my pot roast & mashed potatoes could of been warmer. She said her fries weren’t hot. The warmest, hottest thing we had was the chocolate Coca-Cola cake we shared that’s served warm w/ice cream. This is our second consecutive visit to a Cracker Barrel on a trip where the food wasn’t up to the standards everyone has come to expect. As always the server & staff in the store was friendly, polite and helpful.

One of best Cracker Barrel, I have been too.
I ask for the Sirloin tip and Scrambled eggs.
The sauce of how they made the Sirloin Steak Tips, was amazing.
Pure Old Fashion cooking.

Had dinner with my wife, the food and our waitress were great, the problem was after I had paid the bill my son messaged and wanted us to bring him home an order, this took forever, it was probably 20 minutes at least before someone finally would take our order, and we had to ask multiple times before anyone would take it. The dining experience was great, but trying to get the to go order was not easy.

I like Cracker Barrel. I haven’t been in one in Ohio. Very neat place. Great selection of Christmas items and other goodies. The food was not as delicious as the Cracker Barrel in Arizona that I’m used to attending. So, I was a little bit disappointed. I’m not sure if the waitress was new in the job, but she needs to be trained better. Brought regular bread and muffin, but I had to wait to see her again to ask for butter and jelly. I had a question about joining their rewards program, but she didn’t know anything about it. Neither did she make the effort to find out the answer to my question. Sigh

Thursday is turkey and dressing day. Had turnip greens and sweet potato soufflé and iced tea. Rob had turkey and dressing with dumplings and macaroni and cheese. Corn bread was great too. Our server was Cameron and he was friendly and brought everything we needed. The back drop outside of restaurant is amazing. See the mountains in the photo.
