Typical Cracker Barrel meal and store. Service was fantastic after a night of driving we needed fresh, hot coffee. Just after we sat down our server brought us two hot cups of Joe. Breakfast was tasty, and filling. Ironically the eggs Benedict were not poached but easily solved with over easy eggs. I did think it was great that they had Impossible Sausage as an option. The peach French toast was tasty and the Country Boy breakfast came with a lot of food.

I do Cracker Barrel pretty often and it’s generally speaking very consistent. Today was unfortunately not. My chicken fried chicken was half the size of normal even though were there were two pieces there are usually two pieces and they are much larger. Fish pieces were extremely small almost like nuggets or bites if you will. Everything tasted really good, it’s just the size of entrée including the sides. They were about half of what they usually are and I ordered extra so I could take it with me and pay the extra two dollars for the side upgrade.

We had a larger party and visited this Cracker Barrel on a Sunday. Despite being busy the staff functioned miraculously. Jamie was our server and she attended diligently to our party while also interacting with us with great customer service and personality. The food and experience were wonderful and I would recommend a visit. (Pictured is the catfish, bacon Mac ‘n cheese, and mashed potatoes.) I also recommend their peach iced tea, whether or not you like iced tea you’re sure to enjoy their peach one, a must have!! All very reasonably priced.

It’s not what it use to be. It’s dead in here. I ordered the fish fry with Mac n cheese and hashbrown casserole. The food was bland. The casserole was over cooked. And a southern place that doesn’t put sugar in there tea isn’t a southern place. Overall experience was 1 out of 5 stars. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I had some breakfast in Bristol, Virginia. The food was hot and delicious. The service was excellent. Plenty of refills on my beverage, along with a to-go drink for my continued long journey. And the view of the valley of Bristol on the top of the hill was beautiful. I’ll be stopping back on my return trip.

Eat at Cracker Barrel often. Don’t think I’ll be going back to this one though. Drinks were empty by the time food came, never got any refills. My food came out completely wrong, the waitress sat it on the table and walked away before I could say anything. Then never came back until time to drop the check off quickly and walk away again. My family and I stopped in at your location a few days ago and were very pleased with our experience. Our server Ben went above and beyond for my family and I. He is not only knowledgeable and polite but also extremely helpful. He made menu recommendations for us that were out of this world. The food was incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you Ben and thank you Cracker Barrel Bristol. We will definitely be making the trip here from Kingsport again soon.
