The restaurant had a nice, classic atmosphere. The food portions were generous, and prices generally ranged between $12–$20. The staff were very friendly, especially the young man at the checkout. He was kind, polite, and had a great attitude. Highly recommended.

The food as always was fresh and delicious. I ordered grilled catfish with broccoli and mashed potatoes & our serve Wanda was so nice & pleasant. My mother & I enjoyed how nice she was & how she got everything we asked for as quickly as she could. An we didn’t have to wait long either for her to come back. I also enjoyed all the Christmas stuff in the store. An after my meal I saw this really cool coffee cup that I just had to get a picture of.

Fun place to visit. Lots of cool decor using old advertising posters and antiques. Nice things in the store. Our server was excellent and quick to help. We appreciated the time she spent helping me get what I wanted due to dietary restrictions. Gave 4/5 strictly because I believe the meals are way too large, so also quite expensive. Maybe some like the large amounts, but I had to take half of my food home.

My kid sister joined me for a quick pancake breakfast, everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Our server George was attentive and added to our experience, he is clearly a future restaurant owner!

Update: Although our last experience wasn’t ideal, we have Cracker Barrel another chance. Today our experience was much better. The food was great. The customer service was excellence. All in all, we really do like Cracker Barrel!
We’ve eaten here a few times. Most of our experiences were great. Today, it was different. I don’t know if the kitchen staff is new or understaffed or both, but our food was disappointing today. The ham was so over cooked, it was inedible. The side of cheese was left somewhere hot and when it was brought out, it was literally burnt and molded to the bowl. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed (once again new? or understaffed). Overall, today it came down to the quality of food and lack of service. Left a little disappointed. The store and its beautiful decor was definitely the highlight!

We stopped at Cracker Barrel for some breakfast. The staff greeted us and seated us right away. We ordered fried pickles and some breakfast food. Our fried pickles were delicious, our peach ice tea was flavorful and our Grandma’s Sampler, Momma’s Breakfast, French Toast with whipped butter and Fruit Bowl breakfast meal was good.
Staff were very attentive and friendly, we had a great time.

Nathan our waiter he was out of this world. The home style chicken was amazing hot, fresh, juicy, fried to perfection. Nathan stayed on top of everything fresh hot coffee. He took time to even talk to us and made us feel like home.
