Being Canadian, I’ve heard so much about Cracker Barrel. I came here about a month ago with my sister on a shopping trip. We stopped for lunch. We had such a great time that I brought my boyfriend back and we had a nice dinner date after doing some Christmas shopping. You guys are so friendly and just lovely to talk to. Wonderful location and loved the atmosphere. I had the chicken tenders and different bbq sauces with Mac and cheese and broccoli as my sides. Eve try thing was delicious! I also enjoyed your Merry berry tea as it’s not something we have in Ontario at all. So good guys! Kudos to all the lovely staff I had the pleasure of chatting with!

The place is buzzing in morning with breakfast lovers. The menu has may options for breakfast…elaborate ot quick. I found the service levels slow . I wanted my tea with warm milk on the side and surprisingly, the server informed that there is no warm milk. Missed serving our gravy. Small misses feels like casual attitude. Food was great. Delicious bread which was served along with eggs. Missed having my hot tea though.
If you are a breakfast person then do visit this place on ur trip to Buffalo.

Restaurant was excellent. Lots of great menu choices, food was delicious and prepared very quickly.
The server was so nice and checked on us several times to make sure we had what we needed and that we were satisfied with the meals we ordered.
The decor is very nice and fitting with the theme. The individual cane sugar/syrup bottles were a nice touch and were delicious on the French toast and pancakes and even on the chicken tenders.
Will go to this restaurant everytime I visit the US going forward and everything was reasonably priced for a family of 4 ($80 USD) and we pay almost double for the same 4 adult meals, 2 appetizers, 4 drinks at most restaurants north of the border.
Definitely recommend this restaurant.

I went with a large group of 58 people. The hostess and servers were incredibly kind and quite efficient!
The person that arranged this group had let Cracker Barrel know ahead of time we would be coming, so they were completely prepared!
The food is always good there. I had the New Breakfast burger. It was wonderful. The portions are always ample there as well.

I didn’t like the breakfast I had.
Bacon was a little too well-done.
Ham was okay.
Sausage was okay.
Eggs : requested scrambled with cheese. I guess this is how they make scrambled but just putting a slice of kraft cheese on top? Not sure about that. Normally would be mixed in.
Biscuits: was good warm, when cooled not so great. The Air conditioner was high so the food cooled down fast. Guess our table was located smack in the center.
Grits: I had no idea what grits was, had to look that up. Basically it’s like cream of wheat… see attached photo.
Lemonade: was fountain drink so unlimited refills…
Hash browns: was good.

This place is so special for me and my fiance. The food and mimosas were incredible (as it is every time!) and the gift shop has become our little tradition now. We love it here and we’ll be coming back! We have our own little collection growing with the most special gifts all thanks to the memories here.

Our server was very friendly and extremely helpful. She explained which food items are good options for vegetarians. I really like the decorations that are found around the store. The gift shop is always my favourite part when I visit Cracker Barrel. There’s something for everyone in this store. Keep on playing that country music!

We ate lunch here recently and enjoyed our meal. We started with country fried pickles and they were very good. We both had the homestyle chicken with two sides. We both had 2 large pieces of chicken which were crunchy and very good. My wife had the mashed potatoes and carrots which she enjoyed. I had the hash brown casserole and macaroni and cheese and again they were good. The biscuits and corn muffins were okay. The portions are generous and we both had leftovers. We also took home a couple of ready cooked meals for $6.00 each. The service was excellent and the value can’t be beat.

This was our first time but definitely not our last. I had the new York steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. My wife had the Friday daily special coastal dinner with mac and cheese and chicken dumplings. We were seated immediately upon arrival. We had our food within 10 minutes of sitting down and ordering. We tried the sweetened iced tea. It was what I expect when ordering that as a Canadian but likely wouldn’t order that again. The green beans were good but not what I was expecting. The mashed potatoes with gravy were without a doubt the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my life. The steak was great even if it was a tad heavy on the peppercorns. My wife loved everything she had and couldn’t even finish all the cod but made sure to finish the rest. She saved the cod and brought it home. The check was brought to us without even asking which was nice but as Canadians we tend to expect to be offered dessert after eating the main course instead of ordering at the beginning of the meal. We will be going back here many many times.
