Amazing stop on our cross country trip. Food was amazing and the menu was great. We ordered steak. Great sear on the meat and perfectly medium rare. Ordered hashbrown casserole on the side. We also ordered a chicken dish and it was tender and flavorful.

Lovely place. The fire alarm was pulled and they got everyone out. Thankfully there was nothing of urgency. When we went back in for the food they made it fresh and in good time. They were very kind and inviting. There is also beautiful jewelry<3

I’ve been to this location multiple times. Generally the service is slow but manageable. But on my last visit the service was incredibly slow and it wasn’t even busy. My eggs were overcooked, sausage was undercooked and the meal just generally pretty meh. The bacon was cooked well and crispy as I requested. The store part had all kinds of no knacks for Memorial Day and summer. It isn’t my kind of stuff but they had a large selection which I’m sure would appeal to a lot of people. Overall it was a pretty forgettable experience.

First time visiting Cracker Barrel: May 22, 2025.
On our visit to Watertown, I was craving fried chicken, and voilà! We found Cracker Barrel. It did not disappoint; it was tasty, and we will surely go back.
Thanks for the good service and nice ambiance.

Service left a lot to be desired. I didn’t feel welcomed, and it took an abnormal amount of time for someone to see me after being seated.

They also ran out of corn bread by 1pm on a Tuesday — that doesn’t sound right.

Nevertheless, the fried chicken is tastier than any other fried chicken joint and arrived quick after ordering.

Good portion, cheap prices.
Staff was fantastic and happy.
Gift store attached had a great selection of swag for the area.
Waitress messed up brought us the wrong bill but it was a honest mistake, it just took a few minutes for the correct one.. But overall a great experience.

Today, we didn’t start off kindly! The person seating us at the table rolled her eyes when I asked for a table away from the entrance and loud children. When the food was served, this is what we found: “Chicken and Dumplings” were “mushy” undefined food. Baby food would be more appetizing! Eggs and pancakes were served cold and dry. My grandson asked why my eggs had hair? which were egg white strands [??]. Maple Bacon Chicken was warm, mashed potatoes/gravy, and corn cold…. Our waitress was nice enough to get fresh eggs and pancakes. This time, eggs and pancakes were eatable! What happened to this place? I remember looking forward to eating at Cracker Barrel, not anymore!!

We were there over the weekend on a shopping trip from Canada. Our food was taking a little long and without complaining the manager came out with our waitress and apologized and told us our meals and drinks were going to be covered for the inconvenience!! We were shocked, but very grateful and impressed with the exceptional service. We will definitely return in the future! Thank you Cracker Barrel and staff!

First time ever at a Cracker Barrel and it was amazing. The food was tasty, filling, and at a great price. Waitress could’ve tried more on acting like she wanted to be there though, at least she wasn’t rude.

Canadians here. Thought we would stop for some brunch. We look forward to eating out at restaurants, we’re foodies and this is a simple breakfast spot, but dang, it disappoints.

We had to wait for a table 20+ mins, ok that’s fine but my God what a nightmare that is waiting in that store! You can’t shop because there are people standing everywhere waiting for tables too. So weird.

Our server was friendly but I don’t think she was trained properly? She took our drink order but then we didn’t get our drinks for quite some time, nor did we get a basket of biscuits and man I was looking forward to those! Then the people seated well after us had their food order before us…and it was alot of food. We finally got ours after a 45 min wait!

I ordered the apple crumble French toast, husband ordered a hamburger with fries, and my daughter ordered Mac n cheese. Not too crazy right! 45 mins we also noticed how the food had been sitting under the heat lamp for quite some time because the server was no where to be found. The lettuce on the burger was wilted and warm and the crumble on my French toast was ROCK hard, literally thought I broke a tooth! Told the server (when we saw her again) and she said yeah it’s always hard because it’s made beforehand. And that she would tell the chef. Ok thennnn. Cool, thanks.

Waited and waited for our bill to pay for our- mediocre at best- food. I asked the server if they had to go cups for coffee. She went and grabbed me one, put it in front of me empty and said here you go….ummm lady, I don’t have any coffee.. haha I was speechless. Then she finally clued in and was like “oh, did you want a fresh cup of coffee?” Well yeah, considering mine has been gone for 35 mins while weve been waiting. It was crazy service. She might need a tad more training, just saying.

Then paying was an absolute nightmare, having to go back out into the store part, lining up to pay while you have people trying to pay for their goods and shop. It’s just a weird set up. Not for us!

We won’t be back to a cracker barrel for brunch.
