I was traveling in the area, and since I am familiar with this chain, I figured I would stop in for breakfast. This restaurant and store combo is super cute inside. They have a decent sized food menu with exceptionally reasonable prices. I ordered the Grandma’s Sampler with a cup of coffee (with refill), and everything came to well under $20 and it tasted great. Since I went on an early morning weekday, the service I received from my server Katie was pretty quick. I also checked out the little store prior to leaving. The prices are a bit steep, but everything looks of good quality, and the store is well stocked and organized. They have really great gift ideas for any season and for all ages. A major plus is that they have a good-sized parking lot on the premises. I definitely recommend checking this location out, and I will be sure to stop by again the next time I am in the area.

I think I made right order, because we liked it very much , rostered beef and grilled chicken. The caramel latte iced was wonderful . If the dishes decorated a little bit, the food would look much better, this is just my suggestion, I know this store is traditional old one, and maybe want to keep it simple and low key, but with a little effort you could attract more people and younger generations. Besides the toilet is a mess, paper on the ground everywhere, so I give it 4 stars. The waitress Jasmine (sounds like) is great, smiling and kind. 5 stars to her.

Took my friends here for their first Cracker Barrel and it was awesome. Service was a bit slow but it was also the dinner rush. Overall experience was good and the food was good too. Got the fish fry combo and it was a bit too crispy. Other than that I’d come back. Staff was super friendly and helped my friend get exactly what he needed from the general store.

Let’s just jump right into this review. When you walk into the restaurant, you are walking into their store. Alot of mixed items for all ages at a high price tag. We were sitted at a small 2 chair table, next to a screaming baby that screamed the whole time. 3 different menus came, with all the same items listed on all, prices of food are responsibly priced. The dishes came out of food, n I was baffled at how fast the dishes came out with no wait. The dishes of food looked blah, like just throw on the plate. The cook must either have a heavy hand on the pepper or really like pepper as the pepper taste was overwhelming. As fast as the food came out, so did the check to pay, we were not even halfway through the horrible meal when the waitresses slide the check on the table n she walked away as I said to her we didn’t ask for the check as we didn’t even get a chance to order dessert, making us feeling rush to get out, like when your at a nite club n the lights go on… the waitress finally turned around n said in a nasty attitude I can add the dessert to the check. I’m thinking way to go cracker barrel on wasting paper n the killing of tress. Needless to say the waitress never came back to the table to take a dessert / coffee order.

5/18/23 – Typical Cracker Barrel (nice to know what to expect) except for one thing. This Cracker Barrel does not serve alcohol unlike others that we’ve been to down south. Is it a NJ thing?

We bondocked our first Cracker Barrel at the Clinton NJ location, and it was perfect, 2 hours from Hershey and 6 hours from home. Enjoyed a great but noisy, (place just gets loud due to the high-metal ceiling) dinner and wonderful quiet breakfast early the next morning. Made to Hershey for early check-in well fed for the fun.
