Been here multiple times on business. Never had a bad experience. Service here is pleasant and attentive. A welcome change from chain restaurants.
Food is good too! Perfect before you hit the airport nearby.

WOW!!! What a wonderful place and all the staff there are amazing. Jody though, she is a blessing. I love her attitude, it is contagious. This will be my new spot and I can’t wait for many more. I love the cozy environment. Even the 2 random pots up above. I hope they put more up there. Really great place for everybody.

HER NAME IS HAILEY. Y’all need to go and be waited on by Hailey. She’s a gorgeous, tall woman who takes the time to listen, make your meal perfect, give suggestions, and give incredible service. Just her presence makes your smile. The food is great. I love the salad bar. I would love to suggest black olives, red peppers, green peppers, and cucumbers. She recommended the American fries and boy was she right. Delicious seasoning and cooked just right!

Their prime rib is as good as any I’ve ever had… It is so consistently delicious. And you can’t beat the price. This is now my Friday evening dinner meal that I look forward to each week. And they have at least 4 soups to choose from each night. Love this place!

Everyone at our table was happy.
Alley was so helpful and patient.
One of us could not hear well. She looked right at him and spoke up with respect.
Other folks knew us and stood at our table to talk. She made everybody feel welcome and still weaved up to serve us being polite the whole time.
It was not easy but she was a pro.
By the way, the food was good too.

The service is really good as we got seated immediately on a busy Sunday Morning. Brought drinks out pretty fast, but the food I would say wasn’t too good. I ordered strawberries and whipped cream on my waffle and it was smothered to the point of being inedible. The eggs and hashbrowns no season at all. The gravy was okay, and pancakes were good if you like original pancakes with syrup.

Had a pleasant dinning in experience, our hostess was well mannered and friendly. I ordered the 4 pc boasted chicken dinner that came with salad bar, dinner roll and side potato of your choice. All of it was delicious. My husband ordered the whiskey steak with toast and choice of potato. He enjoyed the buy one get one free burger as well dine in only special. We will be back to try more. Too full to order dessert but there was some good looking pies and cakes there.

This place looks a bit outdated, but who cares? Food is wonderful! Daily specials. I got the all you can eat chislic on Monday night. This was the best chislic I’ve had so far. Seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly, still pink in the middle! Came with toast, and abundance of fries and a salad bar. Had four refills and could have eaten more, they were so good, but was so full! Wife had eggs, mashed potatoes with gravy and 2 pancakes for only 7 bucks! Soups are also included in dinner. Love this place!!

11/29/25 I’ve lived in SF since 1995, I’ve never gone here until today. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and professional. This is your old school diner. The food was priced average to below average. You get a lot of food for your money.

So I have eaten 5 times at the Crack d Pot in the last month as I have been to Sioux Falls on 2 business trips. The past visits have been great with staff and the food.
Today, minutes ago and as I sit in my rental car fuming, I am very disappointed. I order the 14 oz Ribeye that I have enjoyed before, and with fries.
Repeated it twice to the waitress.
Out comes my food and what did I receive but a baked potato. No worries, I will knock it out. Steak was another story. Very fatty, laced with gristle and undercooked. I eat about 4 ounces of the steak as the rest was inedible.
Told the waitress, she misspoke to the owner who told her we don’t have complaints like yours. She told him I said this was the three bad one this week. I corrected her and she told the owner accurately of my experience today. I was told “the. Order the Strip”
She took of 10% for my trouble. NEVER again will they get my business. I was humble and civil and almost didn’t tell her and told basically too bad order something different. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. I will never return to this restaurant.
