Great service, we were a party of 8 and she was by herself. She made sure the food was top tier and her customer service was amazing. All the specialty pancakes were absolutely delicious. She was kind, informative and pleasant. Only minor thing was the French toast was little on the dry side as it seem like they used a different type of bread we were used too, and someone’s eggs didn’t have cheese or enough to cheese to know it was in there. However, even with very those minor things we would surely come back again. She even brought out our food in a reasonable time, which we were very surprised and pleased about.

Oh my goodness, this place is a hidden gem! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. If you are looking for a cafe other than star-bucks, this is the place for you! You can either park on the street out front and climb the stairs or park in the back. Place your order at the register and pay. Find yourself a seat and they will find you once your order is ready. We found ourselves on the second floor in the library waiting out the rain. Coffee was amazing but note that they only have whole milk and oat milk. All the food smelled so wonderful. The bathroom was spotless. If you are ever in the area and have time, swing by. They are closed on Wednesday’s.

I loved having brunch here. Who doesn’t love a cozy, old house? I was pleasantly surprised to find the menu was gluten free, and everything tasted good. After our meals we all got a pastry to go- I recommend the oatmeal cream pie. There were also muffins, cupcakes etc. If you’re exclusively gluten free, this place is a dream, and if you’re not it’s just a bonus. Also, they have an option to order a pie ahead of the holidays! I wish I lived in the area. I hope to come again.

Cute place, enjoyed my breakfast bowl. Veggie Brekkie. Needed a little something more, goat cheese would have been perfect but still good. Staff friendly. Daughter had pancakes, husband had stuffed French toast, it was good but too sweet for me, he liked it. If in the area, we would visit again. Service was fast. However there were only 2 people, 1 table, when we arrived. They got busier by the time we left. Again, nice cute place.

Nice atmosphere but the French toast was worse (considerably) than Denny’s. They used hardly any egg so that most of what I ate was just uncooked white bread. You have to walk to the counter and ask for coffee refills. The one person working at as on the phone the whole time I was there on speaker so I had to listen to both sides of the conversation for 40 min.

I’ve been a customer of Elizabeth’s before it was CrackO’ Dawn! Her food is delicious even if you aren’t Gluten Free! She personally can remember my food allergies and she’s really a force needed in the food community. I have not had a bad experience at Crack O’ Dawn! I cannot wait to see this business blossom and what else Crack O’ Dawn will offer! They just opened in October. She has dairy free and vegan options! Oh and her bread slices are bigger than gluten bread with no holes! That’s really all the marketing she needs! Full disclosure some photos are from previous orders!

Wanted a local place for breakfast, that had gluten free options. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there and learned the whole menu is gluten free, and was delicious! Highly recommend the s’mores pancakes. The staff were also extremely kind and inviting. Would definitely go back!

It was a beautiful morning to eat outside to celebrate my son’s birthday. What a huge disappointment!
1. Outside eating area was full of leaves, chairs needed to be cleaned off and the table full of dust. The server gave me napkins so I could clean it.
2. My grandson ordered the s’more pancakes. He was told they didn’t have the ingredients. OK, he ordered the stuffed French toast instead which comes with strawberry compote. He also ordered apple juice.
The server comes out to let us know they are out of the strawberries for the stuffed French toast and they don’t have any apple juice…ok…he then ordered regular French toast and hot chocolate instead. I tasted his French toast and it is the worst I’ve ever had. His hot chocolate was more like hot milk.I Could hardly tell there was any chocolate in it. But wait! There’s more!
My 4 yr old grandson loves pancakes so his mom ordered one pancake since normally they cover a whole dinner plate $6. She also ordered one for herself. They were probably 4 inches in diameter and on a dessert plate. One of them still was liquid inside so it was not fully cooked, which we had taken back and refunded our $6.
There’s more. The California brekkie bowl (anything CA always has avocados) which my son wanted, had no avocados because they were out.
There were great menu items but if there are no ingredients to make them, Why have them? The food is very bland and uneventful.
We will not return.
The prices were as if we were at a full on restaurant with servers. We had to order at the front, get our own water, etc.

Small but worth a visit! You order your food and then can sit down in the little dining area or outside. The Chunky Monkey Pancakes are so good truly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. My husband and I had a really good breakfast before our journey home.

Yummiest goodies around! The Blueberry Cheesecake is scrumptious & I’m not even crazy about Cheesecake, but this cheesecake I scarf it down! Thank you Adam, thank you Dawn Bakery & Cafe, for sharing with the community a taste of Heaven. ⭐️
