Pros: Great customer service, family oriented, good selection of music, black-owned
Cons: shrimp undercooked, expensive for the quality and didn’t taste fresh
Went on a Saturday night. As my mom and I entered a party of four were exiting. I noticed that they’re seafood bags were completely full and overheard the server telling the manager that they didn’t like it. While waiting for our order to arrive to our table, another guest complained. She felt as if her food had no flavor and the shrimp was chewy. My mom and I both ordered the seafood bag and agree the shrimp is extremely chewy (and gray) which leads me to believe it was undercooked. It would have been nice if the shrimp were deveined.

Food was very tasty. I ordered the spicy shrimp and the kick was flavorful and not overpowering. They have a full bar, the drinks were well made as well. Atmosphere is comfortable, and open, I enjoyed the music, which was a little louder than a run of the mill restaurant, but you could still have a good conversation.

The food was delicious! And the drinks are yummy. Their bar is nice. Bartender did a great job with my drink. However, they don’t have fountain drinks–that would have been great so my kids could get refills. Other than that, I recommend you give it a try.

Today was my first time seeing Crabs R Us. I checked out their menu online and said let me give them a try. I decided to try the shrimp basket, which I was told included 8 shrimp. After I received my to go bag I thought my bag felt light. When I got into my car I noticed a small clear container that contained 8 shrimp. I went back inside to ask if the “shrimp basket” contained fries? I was told no they didn’t. I was very confused because once someone hears shrimp basket or any type of basket, they automatically would think it would come with fries. So I spent $10 on 8 pieces of shrimp. I’m just lost for words.

Love the Crabs R Us. This was my 1st visit and I truly loved the establishment and the sweet and professional workers. From the sweet young lady that took my order to the lovely woman that made me a delicious cocktail they made my day. Wonderful conversation with them both while I waited for my food. If you are looking for great seafood at a reasonable price and a relaxing and fun environment you will love it. I tried lobster Po-boy hush puppies catfish tacos crab bites and yes cheese cake(all on fire). Go get you some.
