This place deserves 10/10 stars! First of all it was customer appreciation day today and the staff circulated the restaurant with an array of appetizers from the menu. I was able to taste the stuffed mushrooms, Mac bites, shrimp scampi flatbread, meatballs, mozzarella sticks, and some pig in a blankets! Amazing! There was a raffle and the food was simple delicious. Our waitress Jackie was a superstar! Super friendly and made great recommendations.

We’ve always thought of this place as you classic broiled seafood plate kinda place where they sit you way in the back of the dining room, but we’ve recently been sitting at the bar and ordering smaller plates and drinks and really enjoying it. All of the servers were great tonight and we loved the shishito peppers, wedge salad and tuna nachos. Drinks were good too. Of course we’ll only go in the off season, but I’m glad it’s in our rotation.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Crab Claw Inn tonight! From start to finish, everything was fantastic.
Our server, Sharon, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The hostess, Martha, gave us such a warm welcome and set the tone for a great evening. On top of that, we were lucky enough to enjoy live music from a very talented and kind lady singing with her guitar—it made the atmosphere feel so special and cozy.
We ordered a variety of seafood dishes, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the quality.
Between the delicious food, friendly staff, and charming live music, The Crab Claw Inn is truly a gem. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit!

Appetizer mussels were excellent. The white sauce they were in was very flavorful with garlic and butter.

My wife and I are turning 70 years old and are visiting places from our past pleasures. Tonight was the Crabs Claw in Lavalette NJ. Wonderful time . Friday night in January at the shore and the place is hopping. Live entertainment was tip worthy, singing along at the bar. Food was fantastic, delivered timely, at temp, with care. Servers very attentive and friendly.. Looking forward to visiting again at 71. Treat yourself. A nice evening out!!!! A bit pricey but real food and worth every penny.

10/10 for everything! The service was great; they accommodated our party of 12 with no problem. Drinks were strong and delicious, and the food was fantastic. I recommend the blackened filet mignon bites and the burrata salad with blackened chicken…so good!

Dad and I came here for some good local seafood. The bars downstairs and upstairs were full with people having fun and talking. We were quickly seated and the food was really good. They bring rolls out before the meal, but they were just packaged style as opposed to homemade.
The server was friendly and helpful even providing recommendations. I decided on a broiled seafood

I’ll start with the fact that we are in off season so our experience is different than most of these reviews! The restaurant was much less busy than we have seen in the past during peak season. With that said, the location is clean, welcoming and a good location with okay parking! Service was good, server was attentive for the majority of the meal. The California burger I ordered was just a little over cooked(no big deal) but the side of fries was almost non existent and just lukewarm. Okay taste, not a whole lot of seasoning though! My fiancée ordered the coconut shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. Good flavor on the tacos and adequate portion. But again just slightly warm fries, that’s disappointing but we aren’t ones to complain. We would return in the future and hope that the food is a little warmer!

SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING WITH LORI WAITING ON US. I start with this because that woman must have been born with a smile and service was impeccable.
Food entrée ( seafood pie) was Fantastic. Appetizer of clams casino was really flavorful.
Ambience was above average.
