Such a fun find on our work trip to Pierre! Close to our hotel room, but seems like I’m oceans away from the rest of town. Perfect spot for relaxing with a few drinks. Good prices. Our food was good and the atmosphere was great.

Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere. Did not expect to find a place like this in Pierre. Nice view of the River! Every time we have come the service has always been quick and the staff have been friendly. The food might be a little on the spendy side but that’s the price you pay for seafood in SD. Will definitely be adding it to our list of regular spots!

Last year I gave them 3 stars and said they had a lot of factors working against them. After visiting them a week into year 2, I can comfortably say they have made some enormous improvements. The food was delicious, wait time was reasonable, and the portion size is much more bang for your buck than last year. Their drinks came out very well made and are similarly priced to other locations around town.
If you were disappointed last year they definitely deserve another chance this year. If they keep it up they’ll be a staple for the summer season.

My partner and I were visiting South Dakota from out of state and stopped in on our last evening for a bite to eat for dinner and everything was so good. We each got a fruity tropical adult beverage and they were so yummy! We also got the snow crab bucket, the calamari, French fries, and the muscles bucket. The muscles were a little too spicy for my taste buds, but over all this spot is a diamond! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

The idea of the place is a good idea it definitely caught my eye, but a restaurant can not survive just on an idea I ordered the bucket of king crab legs and my dad ordered the bucket of shrimp, also I ordered fries for us both she said I could upgrade the fries to a table size for both of us so I did, then I ordered a 2, 15$ Hawaiin punch kind of a cocktail that said it had rum in it, the drink tasted like a water down Hawaiin punch juice from the store. the portion of the fries was very small, the crab legs were mushy and tasted fishy and it was a small portion, which I did finish because I was so disappointed because I had spent over 100$.
I’m writing this in hopes that the owner can read it and make changes to improve, don’t serve food when you can’t get good ingredients, especially seafood. the location and idea are great but the most important thing is the food.

These reviews are way too harsh. This place was excellent. Atmosphere is exactly what a place in Pierre should be – the views can’t be beat. Food was great too. These are the best fries in Pierre. Why isn’t there indoor dining?

Loved this place! ❤️ good was great we tried the lobster roll and csnow crab legs plus the sparrow fries and key lime pie. Everything was delicious and although it was more expensive I thought for seafood it was reasonably priced.

I wanted so much to love this place. I do, but will go back only for drinks and a sunset. Not the food. The ‘lobster roll’ had one chunk of lobster claw meat tucked on top of an imitation crab salad. Bad form for $24.00. Crabby Shell’s, you have a gem there. Step up the integrity of your food and you’ll live long on the waterfront.

AMAZING FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE!!! Best place hands down to have some DELICIOUS seafood and have a great view. Just what Pierre needed! For a seafood dinery, prices are not unreasonable. Can’t wait to go back!
